  6. Theres always 3 sides of the story. Your side, his side, and the truth. But at the end of the day when it is all said and done you gotta do what's gonna make you happy.. best of luck to you.

  9. I didn't attack anybody, i just called people out on their rudeness and stated the obvious.. oh well!
  10. When i got home from surgery it took me about an hour to finish an 8 oz protein shake.. but i will be sippin water in between.. i can imagine it harder for u coz u had to be cut open and is more swollen. So just take it easy in getting your fluids in...
  11. Thank god you are home now. May your road to recovery be speedy. love, love, love premier protein choco flavor. Heard the bars are good too. anyways take care.. keep us posted.
  12. Then quit acting like your perfect!!!!
  13. Reading this thread makes me heated! Im soooo f**ckin tired of the wanna be muthaf*cki* so called old timers!! Who think they known it all. And they are PERFECT! Who are so quick to judge and use such harsh words and give advice in a rude way!! Even a damn doctor or nutritionist will not talk how some of these post and reply. And u doxie would have the nerve to say her mom is an enabler? Talking abt sabotaging her weight loss? Wtf?!! She prolly doesnt knw the diet she's suppose to be in!! My mom didnt knw the stages of my diet in the beginning !! I dnt care if i get kicked off this forum, to all u mean, wannabe user shut the f**k up!! Oh well I'm entitled to my own opinion i think u all suck!! Its the same damn people who have a problem!!!
  14. Im 8 weeks post op. I had the polish dog from sams club yesterday without the bun. Had 3 bites.. didnt like how it sat on my stomach.. so no more hotdogs for me.
  15. RICE!.. i'm filipino and our culture eats rice with everything... its a staple at home, but not for me... i tried a a bite or 2 and my sleeve did not like it at all, it felt like someone punched me in the stomach and left their fist inside me! Sounds crazy but thats how it felt like.
  16. I was sleeved on 10/10 so far i've lost 24 lbs. But i have been on a stall for almost 3 weeks! I haven't lost any weight since my post op appointment 10/24. People are saying that they see a huge difference on me and that my face is slimming down, however the numbers arent going down! I admit that i haven't been religiously taking my protein shakes and i haven't been eating the amount of calories im supposed to coz im scared of throwing up. (usually less than 400) im supposed. I walk at least 3 times a week. I'm starting to think that this may just end up being a failure. Help!! How do i break this stall..???
  17. Hi ladies! 5ft here, sleeved on 10/10/12 weighed 279 on surgery day, current weight is 254.. ... down 25 lbs. just gotten over an upper respiratory infection. Other than that everything has been great!

    Did You Bruise?

I bruised really bad..! My belly looked like a truck ran over it! Lol... mine cleared up in 3 weeks..
  19. Newgrandmother woohooo on your progress! so happy that you are on the right track. On another note about the negativity, i agree with you.. i dont have much post up but i read a lot of the forums. And i see a pattern of the people who are further out post up and act like they "know it all" and are very critical. Dont get me wrong theyre input are very helpful, but they talk as if they were once newbies. Some even act like theyre licensed professionals. Im a licensed nurse myself but i dont feel like i need to lecture and be so critical and blunt. That is why im always hesitant to post coz of them people. At the end of the day there is no other outcome but to lose weight may it be fast or slow, follow the diet 100%, cheat the diet sometimes, work our like crazy, or brisk walk... because we all got 80%-85% of our stomach removed and CANT EAT how we used to!!
  20. Thank u! That is truly comforting... im gona do this!!

    It Takes Hard Work.....

I knw how you exactly feel. They would never know the struggles of being fat, over weight and even morbidly obese! Ive had to tell a girl once that shes more that welcome to live my life even for just a day.. soo annoying huh!
  22. Hi everybody! Sleeved on oct 10, lost 25 lbs so far. I'm losing more on inches. Everything has been going great! Liquids and food are going down good. Chicken and fish are my favorites. My sleeve doesn't like mash potatoes. Been walking everyday 20- 30 mins. Next week i start going to the gym! Tossed out some of my really big pants, I'm one pant size down. Thank u Jesus for a so far smooth recovery.
  23. I thought i'd share, theres these awesome soy nuts from fresh and easy thats really yummy definitely satisfies cravings for that crunchy taste. 1 oz had 11 grams of protein...
  24. Im so sorry you are going through this you need to definitely address this with your doctor. You may just have to self control and restrict yourself on your own will with your intake.. hope it gets better. Best of luck.
  25. Omg! Being a nurse i could totally imagine what u went through.. ive had patients who went through the exact same thing..Next time you can just do an enema..it will break up what u have impacted.. you can get it OTC.. best of luck hope it doesnt happen again..
