No Lbs Lost In 2 Weeks

Thats not much calories. So thats good. Stay that way. Im no expert but I would drink much more water, walk 10,000 steps a day and avoid fatty foods. If you do that the weight will have to come off.

No Lbs Lost In 2 Weeks

Im just curious. What are you eating in an average day? When did you get the sleeve and how much have you lost so far.
  15. I'm so full of energy and almost never hungry. I was sleeved on Oct 22 2012. I was wondering how long does this last? Am I going to be like this forever or what ? Please say yes!!!
  16. I don't think its the lack of carbs thats making us have more energy. I think its because we are eating so much less fat and calories. I mean think about it. Carbs are what athletes use for energy. Fatty foods make people sleepy. Take away the fat = more energy.
  17. The first 3 days on all liquids were kinda rough. After that it wasn't too bad. It was doable . The first 3 days you might be tired and you should probably take it easy or take a nap. After that you might notice your energy actually increase. I did. It won't be a lot of fun but it won't be total hell. It's important to follow the liquid diet because you want to lose as much weight as possible before the surgery, so you will lose more in total after the surgery. Also the diet will shrink your liver and make your surgery safer. It will be much easier to do the liquid diet after the surgery because you won't be hungry. Just realize why you are doing this. It sounds like you have family and friends that love and depend on you. They need you to be alive, happy and healthy. Now is the time to keep your eyes on the prize and get pumped up about your exciting new life. I was sleeved on Oct 22. The first 2 days were really rough and I wish I had taken more pain meds. After that I felt great and now I have lost 34 pounds and I feel so much better already. I feel better than before I had the surgery. I have much more energy and and a much better mood. Just follow your doctors diet and watch the pounds drop off. This is a war and only the strong survive, so dig deep and do what you need to do right now. It's not going to be a walk in the park always but you don't have much to lose and when you lose it all you will look in the mirror and cry for joy. Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. Think about how sexy you will feel. Think about all the diabetes , heart disease, strokes and other horrible things you will be avoiding with this surgery and new lifestyle. It's like a miracle!! Think about not getting stared at by mean people at restaurants in public. Think about all the guys that will be asking you on dates. This is your time and the time is now. The new you has begun. Deal with it.
  18. Down from 429 to 398 pounds !! Boo ya!!

  19. Can I have more than 4 oz of fluid in an hour? Or will that stretch out my sleeve? I just got sleeved a week ago on OCt 22. I hate sipping but I don't want to stretch out my pouch.. Is it okay to drink an 11 oz protein shake in 5 minutes or is that a bad thing?

    Insomnia?

I have had the exact same problem. I was sleeved on OCt 22 and I can't fall asleep until 5 am. I don't know if its from the sleeve or from the liquid diet. Low calorie liquid diets are known to cause insomnia. I would love to know a solution to this. I have tried melatonin and even that doesn't work. I toss and turn. I'm waiting to hear back from my DR about if he can prescribe me a sleeping pill.

    Always So Tired!

maybe you should cut out the fat and just try carbs. Maybe a low fat raw vegan diet might help. Are you drinking enough water?
