can I join your slowww losers club? I was banded on 1/4/05. I've lost 35lbs. I haven't made the best food choices nor have I exercized the way I should. Sorry it's so late after the thread but I haven't had time to come on the site lately I have to come on more I love reading the threads I find them very helpful. I was also hoping to be further along with the numbers by now but I guess slow loss is better than being heavyier.My best NSV is I don't get out of breath so easily anymore. That feels great!!!!!!!

I'm with you guys. I will also K.I.S.S. Drink lots more water and I will not eat after 8:00p.m. I will do my best with this.THANKS for the thread

I've had 2 fills and I'm still not losing . I lost 15lbs. in the first 2 weeks after surgery. I'm feeling really depressed. I hope the 3rd fill will be a charm.Time is passing I had my surgery 1/4/05. I thought I would have been a little further along. Feeling like a failure.PLEASE HELP NEED ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hello all thanks for your responses. It's a good feeling to know your not alone and that people care! I'll try to answer the questions now ok lets see. I was 223lbs. when I started I'm 5'2" My BMI was 40. I lost 15lbs in the first 2 weeks. I've had 2 fiils I have 2ccs in my band now . I have a little restriction. I"m having another fill a week from Wed. Hoping this on is the charm. I did have a little problem with ice cream and chocolate but it's better now. I'm trying to drink enough water. I don't drink with my meals. I do wait 1hr after meals to drink. I'm going to try to excercize more.I do try to eat my protein first or with my salad.Hope this helps all advice is welcomed and appeciated. Hello everyone I'm getting my 1st fill on Thursday the 17th. I'm a little nervous I'm not sure what to expect I've had my surgery on 1/4/05 I had good restriction for 2 weeks then I guess the swelling went down, I haven't have much restriction for the passed month. I was wondering if after the fill what I'll feel as far as restriction goes will I feel the same restriction as I did after surgery? Is that the goal for feeling? I wasn't hungery. Now my god my stomach is growling and twisting as if I haven't eaten all day and it's only about 3 hours or so I'm starving at that point. Next question how do you know when your full before you get that unconfortable feeling or pain? What are some of the signs? I've pbed Quite a few times in this past month It's hard to slow down and chew so much without the food sipping down. Help I don't want to keep pbing after my fil. Hey I have a question what is that slime deal It happened to me. Is that concidered pb or just slime why does that slime thing happen anyway? One more question when you eat something and not chew well enough or to fast and you have that heart attack feeling is it better to made yourself pb or just pray it will pass? Will it pass?

That's really a cute puppy. I've lost my jazzy girl she was a beautiful black Dobie. She's in heaven now. But when she went to sleep she helpde god create my boy Zeus another black Dobie.he was born when she went to sleep so I feel she sent him to me.It's so hard when there gone. But we have to remember all the love they gave and how much they enriched our lives. Monica

When can you start to exercise after surgery not walking but more intense stuff like cardio or strenth training?

I'M so excited I think I'm in shock they approved me. My date to be a bander is Jan 4, 2004.I'm estadic I'm going to be able to go on this journey to be healthier,and have my outside match my inside(BEAUTIFUL). Happy holiday to all of you! I've gotten the BEST present ever.Thank you GOD!!!!!!!!
