I have been a stay at home wife, and mother for 20 years. We have his, mine and our kids. A bunch of grandchildren. I was never a big person. I started gaining a little weight after my husband and I started living together. I got pregnant and had a miscarriage and I never lost the weight afterwards. I started having some serious female problems in 1996. In 1997 it got to the point to stop the pain I had to have a complete hysterectomy. After that surgery I never used hormone therapy until 1 1/2 years ago. I gained a tremendous amount of weight. I went up as high as 262 pounds about 6 years ago. I lost about 12 pounds on my own. so I went to Dr got on diet pills lost another 60 pounds in 9 months. I walked 4 miles a day. I had all the energy in the world from the diet pills. Then tragedy it me. My dad passed away suddenly. He was still young at only being 60 years old. I didn't deal with that to well at all. Then a month later I get in a car accident that put me down about a month.Well I stopped going to weight Dr, stopped walking and the weight came back slowly but surely. I went back up to 246. My husband was picking on me one day and told me I was getting fat. He actually hurt my feelings. When he did I called the surgeon. I took my insurance card in there . They called me back and said my insurance would cover the surgery. So I started preparing for surgery. I am 3 months post op and I am smaller than I have been in years. Pound wise I am almost where I was at 1997. Clothes wise I am smaller. Everyone tells me I am skinny, but I still don't feel skinny in 186 pound body.
