This started last Thursday, i am getting really bad burning sensation around 2 of my incision cites.

Surgery 12.8! Today has been a horrible struggle! The 3 "juice box" meals don't really bother me, it's the crunch of real food i want so bad today! I would love to eat a warm meal also! Monday morning can not get here soon enough!

I'm thrilled to say I'm 1 day post op!

I have a 2 wk pre op diet with the 1st wk limited to protein shakes, fruits, and vegetables. That was a walk in the park! Day 4 of the 2nd wk is kicking my butt! I am only sllowed to drink the special drinks they gave me for each meal and clear liquids! I am focused and ready! I have big hopes this time around!

Today i started the 1st of 5 days drinking a product called Impact. Anyone else use this begore surgery?

Yes, my 3rd! Not sure what caused slip. I was having other medical problems (though i had lupus) and i was taking medication that i thought was causing my stomach probs only to find out band had slipped. My original Dr had relocated so i was forced to see another. He converted to sleeve 10.12 and kept telling me it was going to take longer to lose weight cause of the scar tissue. I only lost about 20lbs. Now 2 yrs later i have successfully gained most of my weight back. I talked to a friend that had band removed due to a faulty piece and went to her surgeon. He felt bands left too much scar tissue to make a sleeve small enough. He sent me for upper GI and found that i have a stomach that looks more like a pear not a banana!

I had band 6.08 removed due to slip 10.12 "converted to sleeve". I am now scheduled for gastric bypass dec 8th! I have gained all my weight back and have a new surgeon. He feels it is hard to do a good sleeve after band due to scar tissue.

Bypass on 12.8! Super excited!

Thanks for the suggestions! I drank some Gatorade and a couple sips of diet coke that seemed to help! I was fine day 4!

Woke up day 3 with a horrible headache!

I have surgery scheduled 12/8! Super excited! VEry long road....band 6/08, band slipped and removed "converted" to sleeve 10/10, bypass 12/8/14!

Congrats!! Wish I were doing as well! I'm down 19lbs in almost 8 wks.

Hey ladies...I get waxed about every 6 wks also. I actually go to a local beautician school. I pay $26! The students do a great job!! I prefer the hard wax, they can go over any spots that may not have gotten it all. The strips do not allow for that. I HIGHLY recommend it!!

I am feeling the exact way! Band converted to sleeve 10.10, lost 15# since 10.1. Seems like nothing is gonna budge!

Suejersey....I am right there with ya! I'm 16 days out, had lost 15, gained 5 back, scale showed lost 2 again this morning! Not sure about the gain, not eating much at all. Seems like I can either eat or get liquids in! Trying to be patient. I feel great, still a little tired every now and then. I had band surgery in 2008, band slipped so we removed band and converted to sleeve. Just want to get back on track again!!!!

Hey everyone! 2 wks post op today! Still eating soft foods. HAD lost 15lbs but gained about 3 back! Wth.....not eating much, not very hungry! Hope my body decides to release whatever It's holding on to!! :-(

Hey there! Came home today 10/12 from band converted to sleeve on 10/10! Came home with drain due to the conversion. I'm feeling great other than some gas pains. Hoping to get back on the losing path again!

Hope all went well. I had my band removed and converted to sleeve 10.10.12. I'm home today doing great!
