I have a desk job (6p-6a) and I will be returning after 2 weeks(taking sick time). But just a coincidence I have vacation the week after I'm released (: so it will be 3 weeks total.

I really am going to try. All they allow is 5 slim fasts a day(low carb and reg) or 5c of 2% milk w/ carnation breakfast drink (no sugar added) that's it!!!! And then all the water you want. I quit smoking back in sept so I can do this. I will just be a big B I'm sure lol

I got my FMLA paperwork filled out and turned in (my work requires 30day notice). I have been gathering thinga for my 2 week diet that starts Jan 31st. I am not looking forward to this!!!!

[ATTACH]7927[/ATTACH] I made this up today and added 12 ice cubes and blended in my ninja.Totalled 29g protein. I am pre op (surgery Feb 14). My boys(17/16) tried it and they liked it too. It filled up a shaker ball container to the top and then another cup. I think total is was about 32oz. Beginning my trials with the ninja

If you cant drink that much I think I will use less ice. I would get 2 servings out of this much.

For me the first week was hard. I carried a straw in the car with me and chewed that lol.it helped while driving. Just keep busy it gets easier (:

I am due for surgery in Feb but I shop resale. Goodwill and salvation army for me until I level out. I find Abercrombie, Hollister, American eagle etc for my kids and they look brand new. So I'm sure when I drop I will be able to find stuff for cheap

Just found out my insurance is changing 2013. And now WLS will not be covered at all!!! And my surgery was going to happen Jan/Feb. I sure hope I can have this WLS still since I started earlier this year 2012. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed. I will call my case manager at the insurance company on Monday. #stressing

I was denied too and I so wanted to smoke...but I had come too far and I resisted! I still get cravings every now and then hut they pass quickly. Good thing I see something else shiny and I forget lol

I got my date yesterday!!!!! Feb 14th (which is also my husbands birthday) Everything is a go. I asked them what happened and they said they changed the verbiage in my policy? So I think what happened was they just added it as they knew they messed up. Either way I am good with it. I also requested a copy of the new verbiage so I can show this to my "lawyer". My lawyer is a friend who is a paralegal who her boss/friend is a lawyer. I just want them to look it over for any hidden issues. Ins coordinator assures me there is not anything to worry about. Hmmmm no thanks give me a copy (:

Mine took forever! Mine will be 13 months from 1st consult to surgery.
