I am 3 days post op and what is everyone doing for gas pains? I'm walking in circles in the house but my belly is just constant rumbling and tumbling. I'm also using a heating pad...I just want to fart so bad!! Other than that I have no complaints. Any other ideas?

Its when I drink I feel nauseous. But I found if I burp it goes away. Sounds like waves are crashing around in my belly! Anyone else getting hiccups? I get them several times a day, they sure do not feel good

Ok sent my husband after them! My belly is just making all kinds of noise! And it's painful! Wish I could fart lol

I felt great 1st day. Came home and felt horrible now 3rd day is better. Hoping every day improves

How many of them do you take?

I lost 9# day of surgery. Came home and said I gained 15# now this am says I lost 5# so I have decided until I have completely healed I'm not weighing myself

Hey its me who was doing so well! Lol I'm day 3 (sleeved 14th) and I came home yesterday after 30 hours in the hospital. Seemed I was doing so much better while I was attached to IV morphine. I'm now on straight oxycodone liquid with additional childrens tylenol so I could get the maximum amout of pain control. I slept about every 3 hours last night and woke up today and attempting puree diet. I'm feeling much better today than yesterday. Stomach is still very sore where they gave me another belly button looking incision. And I feel gassy but walking laps in my house. How is everyone else?

Well not to brag but everyone is calling me a rock star! 30 hours after surgery and I am ready to go. Just waiting on a ride. I have had no issues with nausea or tolerating liquids or meds. I get to start puree tomorrow. I thought I would share

I too had a c sect. While I was in recovery was the worst! Took about 2 hours to get the pain under control. I think c sect was worse than this. I thought my insides were going to fall out with the section lol

MzRobin its not bad at all! Just sore like you did a ton of sit ups and maybe pulled a muscle on one side (biggest incision and where they take out the stomach part) I fell asleep for 3 hrs and woke up in extreme pain but that was really it. Otherwise its been so smooth

No you can't. So I will not be sleeping more than hr or two. Took an hr to get comfortable again. Today I should be getting oral meds and Dr said possibly going home (: Rn thought sat morning

I too sleeved on 2/14 I'm burping but nothing else I'm walking 10-15 min every couple hours. I am not having too much bloating. Hope yours goes away soon I cant sleep on my back it hurts.I sleep on my side

I made it to the loosers bench 2/14/13!!!!! Yee haw and I have lost 9# in less than 24 hrs so plus pre op I lost 16# for a total of 25#. Up and walking every couple hours for 10-15 min at a time. I'm feeling pretty good.
