I am also on full liquids too. My follow up with my surgeon is Monday. Hopefully, I will get the blessing to start soft foods. But anything food I see on TV or smell looks goooood. Even ketchup lol.

Anyone Out There Cold After Getting Sleeved?
Soli3l replied to Boofster's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Omg I thought it was just me, but I am constantly cold. But I love it, it's better than being hot. Thank God my car you can control your heat, my husband likes his side cold and I like it hot!!! -
I'm sure it does get better...

4everhope: I have no more gas pains, sleeping on my bed (able to sleep on my right side and back, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SLEEP ON LEFT SIDE - felt like my stomach in a knot and excruciating pain), I take my pain med 1x a day. I started my full liquids today, only been able to have a 4 0z protein shake, and 4oz of clear liquids, still swollen, down 5lbs, get really hungry after 8 pm. Getting better everyday. Love the Cookies n Cream GNC Total Lean protein made with 1/2 water and 1/2 skim.

How's it going? What are your current struggles and what stage are you in your diet? Clear liquids? Full? Soft?

I was also sleeved 11/14...I was really hungry on Sunday and yesterday after 8 pm while on clear liquid diet, I am ok during the day. I started full liquids today, so I will see what happens at night.

I was able to sleep flat yesterday on my bed, haven't lost a single pound, still swollen and as everyday passes the better you get.

Nerves are kicking in, I even had a nightmare where the doctor could not do the Sleeve because my stomach was too big and he was going to retry in a week, lol.

My date is also Nov 14th, I start my preop diet on Nov 13th Clear Liquids. Started Prilosec 20 mg and no aspirin since 11/1/12.

So I am anxious, tommorrow is my revision surgery. I was on the lap band for 27 months and only lost 12lbs. Tommorrow, my lap band will be removed and if there is no damage to my gastrointestinal joint it will be converted to a sleeve. If there is damage then I need to wait a month for it to heal and then have part 2 of the surgery. Otherwise, I may run a high risk of leaks which is difficult to correct. Better to be safe than sorry.

So I got the band removed today took 20 min, but it took 2 hrs to wake up from anesthesia. It took 6 hrs to be in/out of hospital. Clear Liquid diet continues for today ???? In 4 wks I'm getting sleeve performed. -
