Why am I fat? I ask myself all the time WHY ME? Why can't I have that wonderful metabolism of others that can eat all day and not gain a pound? IT STINKS! My band had helped me tremendously with maintaining my current weight. I have lost 100 pounds, and have stayed the same for about a year now. I need to lose at least fourty more, but my mind won't let me do it. i still obsess about food daily, and it seems the foods that agree with me the most are the ones that are not so great for me. I can relate to many of the other posts about being depressed. I have been depressed for years, and have also had severe anxiety issues. FOOD was always my friend. One way I sum it up is food is my addiction, just like alcohol, or drugs for someone else. I just take it each day as it comes.

HELP!!! I canot stop eating ice cream. i don't eat alot of food, but I guess since ice cream goes down so easy, I just love it! Any ideas???

I agree with that as well. I am going to try to only grab icecream when I am out somewhere. I will get one serving instead of bringing it in the house.

Thanks for the support! I think the best way is to cut off completely! That is the only way for me.

Okay, i know I am not alone now. I have to eat icecream every night, and if I don't have it I go crazy. This is the problem, icecream goes through that band sooo easy!

I was banded by Ponce back in 2003 in Dalton. I have lost 120 pounds, and cannot seem to lose any more, I have about 40 more pounds to go. Good luck to you as well!

I live in Bartlett. I was banded in 2003 back in Atlanta where I am from. I have not had to see a doctor here yet.
