Hello guys I have set a goal of 25 pounds for my first month of surgery. I am currently down 10 pounds a week in a half in I just want to know if my goal is to high or not. Ht 5"6 Wt before surgery 255 Wt on surgery day 241 Current wt. 230

I was sleeved 10/15 down about 15 pounds.. Seems like I lose weight every five or six days.. So I'm going to stop weighing my self everyday it's driving me crazy.. I try my hardest to get all my protein in but I hate every sip.. I have been working out.. Walking, treadmill, a Lil bike .. I kind of see I'm not going to be one of those big losers. But it's fine as long as I lose..my clothes are fitting great though!

I was alleged 10-15 and I swallow my vitamins just fine..

I guess I'm feeling pretty okay I lost about 4 pounds since my last weigh in so I'm about 14 pound post op.. But like many of you said I just thought I would lose so much more since I'm barely eating.. I haven't really excersise consistently yet.. But I am back to work and I work in a busy e.r. So im walking constintently haven't had any problems with gas.

I only lost 10 .. But that is soooo good for you!! :-). I can't wait to lose 30 pounds!

Got sleeved oct 15th doing pretty good.. I notice each day that goes by Its becoming a lot easier to move around.. Besides my tummy being sore I haven't experienced any real pain. I haven't been hungry much only been drinking crystal lights and jello I'm up to about two jello and two bottle waters a day.. My surgeon called me this morning (love him) and ask how I was doing and how I was feeling and told me to start taking protein again tommorow.. Last but not lease passing gas a lot but still no bm.. Is this normal?

I had my surgery mon oct 15 feeling okay! Up and walking the first day just started my liquid diet today not able to drink much but a Lil broth and popcycles.. What should I expect my first week post op any advice!

It amazes me that people are able to take so much time off my doctor said I should be fine in a week but he put me off for four weeks and he said he never gives anyone more than a month off.. I probably a do a week and half to two weeks just to be safe but I have a desk job so I'm not to worried .. My surgery is set for mon oct 15 so we shall see praying for a speedy recovery rather I'm at work or not!

Hello!! My surgery date is set, I have the support from my love ones and friends, I have coworkers who recently had the surgery and are doing great .... But I am so freaking nervous I am seriously starting to punk out a Lil bit! I am second guessing everything.. !! All types of things are running through my head like am i doing this for vanity, will It even be worth it, should I just try to diet and work out, and finally am I being selfish to my daughter what if something happen to me.. The only thing I know for certain is that I'm not happy with myself I hate to take pictures, I love to shop and now I refuse to go do to my wieght, and honestly I am embarresed I lost 65 pounds 2 years ago and I gained 35 back. Loser right..???? if any thing I just need motivation!! Sorry for the long note just venting

That's how I feel it got to be more to life than this.. I just praying for a great outcome I must say there are so many great stories of success

My surgery is October 15th excited and nervous... Excited about the possibility and nervous about the procedure... Good luck everyone!

Haven't had my surgery yet.. It's scheduled for the 15th of October but I'm hoping to go back as soon as possible.. I think I would do better at work then sitting at home all day.. I also have 5 coworkers that had the surgery plenty of support there..
