Those of you who make smoothies, how do you make just enough for one? I just made my first smoothie and wasted half of it!

Sleeved after having baby
Nicolanz replied to amitch17's topic in Pregnancy with Weight Loss Surgery
None. My husband works nights so I was on my own. It was hard but doable. Just find ways to limit lifting your kids for a couple of weeks. I would feed my little one while he was laying in his boppy pillow. Or I'd put pillows under my arms when I held him. -
I absolutely love your response, Arcus!

Jason, the very first post I made on this forum was "Husband not supportive" He even blew up on me saying I stuff my face. I never talked about the surgery with him after that. I felt alone and depressed and guilty. It was horrible. When I got back from having my surgery he was 100% on board. I think he was terrified I wouldn't survive. Honestly, I didn't care and would have left him if he made me chose not to have it. I got great support frim this site. People who understood what I was going through. He's skinny too and eats enough for 3 people. He'll never understand my struggles even though he's watched me try every diet known to man. Stay strong. Do this for you and I'm sure she'll come around. It may not be until after you've had your surgery. Stick to your plan or you'll never forgive her for talking you out of it.

At chipotle I get chicken, lettuce, black beans, peppers and guac (bowl). Then I add my own low fat cheese and sour cream. It makes 4 meals for me.

If you were a binge eater before

Yesterday was horrible! I am PMSing and I think my sleeve relaxes or something during that TOM! I grazed all day and was able to eat more than usual. Today is a new day! -
When can i eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwiich?
Nicolanz replied to cyncitygirl's topic in Food and Nutrition
I think when you're cleared for all foods you can eat bread. It's definitely not a slider food for me. It swells up in my little tummy and gives me hardcore pain! But I think eventually you should be able to eat a half a sandwich. -
Cowgirljane how long did it take you to get a handle on portion control? Did you ever have a problem post op? I'm 3 months out and still find myself eating until it hurts!
-
I think it's already been said, but I'm wondering is you are low on potassium. I hope it all gets figured out! It's weird that your abdomen and calf muscles hurt. Is it any better?

How long did you take pain meds after your surgery?
Nicolanz replied to Success2013's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I probably took them for about a week to help me sleep. -
Does it feel like muscle pain? Or internal?
-
Hit send too early .....it also has a set volume so one learns how much they can eat and its their new normal. No fills or expanding a band.
-
The band never seemed like a good idea to me. When I was younger, my dad even offered to pay for it and I refused. The sleeve helps with hunger
