I'm sorry about your dilemma but you are hilarious! I laughed during the whole post partly because I completely understand and mostly because of your wording! Haha. My coworkers are always making fun of the amount of food I eat!

The surgery itself is nerve racking but also the changes that go along with it. Your battle against weight will soon be over. You life is about to change. Even though it's a positive change, it's still scary. Imagine yourself healthy, not being held back by your weight, the confidence you will have, the liberation! Now imagine yourself backing out. Still fighting this weight battle, being depressed, held back. You got this! The beginning is the hardest part and in a few months you will feel amazing! Good luck and keep us posted.

I was one who didn't believe he did more than 8 a day. There were six of us the day I went and he has 8 beds. I guess he is moving the patients to a clinic in the same shopping center. I never called anyone a liar and I do apologize for defending that statement. I didn't have a great or horrible experience, so I don't recommend him or tell people not to go to him. Honestly, I just feel lucky I didn't have any complications. I probably would have felt the same way about any doc in MX due to the lack of follow up. Steph I hope you do have someone for support! You can always send me or anyone else who has gone to him private messages if you have questions. Good luck with your surgery!

So true. This may sound like a "duh" statement but we still need to make healthy choices to make this work. I know this and everyone else knows this but I was looking at a site that compared wls and for the sleeve it specifically said, "still absorbs nutrients so patients need to be wise about food choices." Even though I already knew that, seeing it brought me back to reality, if that makes any sense. Sometimes we get off track, that's normal but getting support from friends, websites, fellow sleevers really does help getting back on track. We can motivate each other!
