I would follow my own advice if I were annoyed. I'm not. Just wondering why one would cause themselves so much stress and then blame others for their stress. But you're right, this is the vet's forum and I didn't realize that. I always just read current threads. Vets discuss ....

That was a really long response and I didn't read the whole thing but I really enjoyed the part about the nicey nice patrol. Especially coming from someone who started a whole thread about what not to ask and what questions really annoy you. Like I said, I don't mean to offend or start a debate here. Just don't think it's necessary to start threads politely telling people to shut the eff up on a public forum. When I become oh so experienced and my perspective has changed, I'll probably not log in anymore. If it's causing you so much pain and inconvenience to answer a PM, don't answer it! Or simply say there's Google and support groups for such inquiries. I'm not hinting at you to leave, I'm saying avoid adding unnecessary stress in your life. That is all......

I amoked before and after. I don't know if this is related, but my incisions opened up 3 weeks after surgery and were big holes for 2 months! I think I'm going to try Chantix too. Did any of y'all have side effects?

After I had my baby,I'd always get one or two long fine hairs growing under my chin. I'd never see them it was always my husband who found them! It also happened when I was on birth control. It's hormones!

There's actually studies that say 90% or something crazy like that will fail at losing weight naturally. It's not hard to lose but it's near impossible to keep off. You're not alone and you're not a failure. The fat cells we've accumulated bever go away the just shrink. When they are starved and shrunken, they release a hormone that sends a signal to your brain that says, " hey! We need replenished here!" Your appetite increases and here comes the weight again!

I'm guessing this thread will stop a lot PM's and maybe even embarrass those who have already reached out to you for help. I in no way intend to offend you, Cheri. I like the advice you give but lately you've expressed your dislike of the discussions on this site a few times. Maybe you just don't care for this site all together anymore. As far as how to handle the PMs, I usually give my experience and guide them in right direction to do their own research. I guess if it was something I didn't want to answer, I wouldn't.

Is the bio oil expensive too?

I had really easy csections so the sleeve was way worse for me too. If you had a rough csection, you'll probably think the sleeve was easier. Both surgeries are well worth it though and soon the discomfort will be a distant memory!!! Glad you're doing well iwilliam!!

Also there's a complications section of this site. You can see what others have been through. I think most leaks happen right away but you're still at risk until about 6-8 weeks.

I've never tried bio oil but have seen it. For me, I am very white so my incisions are bright red. My doc gave me a sample if mederma yesterday and with one application, my scars are pink! I will update with the results after a few weeks but I was pretty surprised by the results so far.

Everything on me is starting to droop. I picked up the Jillian Michaels Kickboxing dvd and started 3 days ago. Hopefully it helps. I have a friend who had the surgery a year and a half ago and she said there are definitely times when your skin doesn't keep up with your weight loss. Hopefully it catches up!

Even on the cartoon I'm watching with my son, they are eating pizza!! Haha. I would never go as far to get rid of the TV though. Every day life is full of temptation, we just have to learn to deal with them. You know what sucks more than seeing it on TV? Smelling delicious food! I work across the street from a Shipley's donuts. It smells incredible!

I'm in line at Starbucks and the old orange man in front of me rubbed the cashiers arm and told her how pale she is. She gave him his change and told him to get out of the line haha!

I'm almost 4 months out abd haven't really had anyone ask what my secret is. They just tell me I look good. I've lost 52 pounds so I don't think its suspiciously fast. It might be different when I've lost more but as of now I haven't had to explain myself.
