    Did anyone smoke after surgery?

Blood test takes 1-3 months depending on the frequency you smoked. E-cigs contain nicotine as well.

There's a big increase in estrogen during rapid weightloss. I was horrible for months after surgery. It's fairly common. Eventually you'll even out hang tight!

    Hunger pains

I hate that doctors push the grehlin aspect so much. I'm 6 months out and still get hungry, only instead of Pre Op pains, I get nauseas now. It gets easier as long as you make sure to eat your meals and snacks!

Mirena IUD vs. Birth control pills

Also, you're supposed to double up on birth control the first 18-24 months. My surgeon strongly recommends a barrier method with pills/implant. However from personal experience, condoms and NuvaRing are tricky. Not hard, just tricky. And I had a friend with implanon that had seizures, weight gain, and pregnancy. It's all your choice though. Just remember to double up!

Mirena IUD vs. Birth control pills

Mirena was a nightmare for me. It hurt like a ***** to get inserted, so bad I couldn't drive myself home. After my cramps were worse, my periods heavier, I started growing facial hair and an hour after shaving my legs I had stubble. But worst of all, I got pregnant. The Mirena messed up my test in the ER and the doctors said I had a miscarriage after just a few weeks. That was rough, but realizing they were wrong and delivering a fetus that had lived months after that and passed away inside me was the worst. I dialed 911 with my toes while I was sitting in the bathroom doubled over in pain. I'm on micronor now (no estrogen pill) and no periods! Also, the no estrogen option increases the chance of keeping your hair.
  8. My weight restrictions were nothing more than 5 lbs for two weeks. Nothing more than 10-15 for 3 weeks after that. I ended up turning wrong in my sleep and popped an internal stitch which added about another month of lift restrictions (but I was in the hospital so it wasn't hard to comply) I don't have children but I keep up with threads like this because I have fibromyalgia and in the future when I have kids, some days lifting won't be an option. The best advice I've seen and committed to memory is this: encourage climbing. Meaning closely guide your baby while he/she gets down as far as they can without lifting them out of the high chair. And start now on having them help you get them out of the crib. Or maybe you could visit a consignment shop and grab one of those 2 floor pack and plays, so you won't strain your belly as much. Or depending on baby's weight, a bedside sleeper. Maybe consider co-sleeping/bumbo seat feedings/changing on a couch or level surface for those first few weeks. I hate to read things like this, I couldn't hold my puppy and that was hard enough! But a couple weeks or compromise for baby is worth the added years of health you get to spend with them Wish you were close! I love babysitting good luck!

    Sensitive tatas

It's the increased estrogen. My dr said something about primrose oil when my fibro cystic pain kicks up.
  10. I'd try and get into the dr sooner if you don't think it's gas. Chest pain was my only leak symptom. And don't worry about waiting for soft food! Don't push yourself.

    Indiana Sleevers

Oh mine had its own incisions. And they were tiny little holes. Scabbed over and gone in 3 days after I removed the tubing.

    Indiana Sleevers

The OnQ pump lasts a few days, and once the meds are all used the ball (that comes in a pouch you wear around your neck) turns into the size of an apple core an you pull the tubes out. They're about the size of uncooked angel hair pasta. They're longer than I thought though. But I felt nothing when I pulled them out.
