Hi everyone, I started my weight loss journey in April 2011. I had lapband surgery. Which was a complete failure. From the beginning I never felt good and was throwing up none stop, I had a pain in my throat like someone was choking me all teh time and anytime I tried to swallow food. The doctor did not want to hear that the lapband had failed so I was made to believe that it was me, until I finally went to a new doctor who took the time to listen to me and ran test November 2012 and found out that I had a eroded band and the surgeon that put the band in placed it to high so that was why I always felt like I was being chocked. I finally had the band removed in February 2013 and I feel great no more pain but now I am gaining weight all over again. I can not aford to gain anymore weight. I just want to start seeing the scale and my clothes size going down, So I contacted Dr. Jessie who was wiling to do the sleeve surgery on me. Now I have a little more then a month before my surgery and I am looking so foward to it, but I am also a little scared, at the same time. I am hoping to get advice and some support in this new journey.
