Lucky 7- July 07 Cruise (to bring or not to bring)
sunshine6855 replied to Lynette617's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I didn't get to vote. I will be cruising alone since there is only me. -
you know I miss a day and half and there are 18 pages to read. I am only to pg 159 but have to go now. Will be back after 8:30 pm. Kathy, love you pics and you handsome men. Can't wait to see the pic of your little girl. I think you kitchen looks great now. Can't wait to see the improvement. AshRae, 14 lbs! WOW! good going. BTW, I love your avatar. your look very stunning and sexy:biggrin1: Hi Chimboree, glad the infection is getting better. Dini girl, sorry I missed you. Talk with you later. What a steal on those outfits for Annafrancesca:biggrin1: Hi Lynette, how did things go at the doctor. Is your husband going to be a happy man tonight;)
-
I am the baby and the only girl. I need sisters too. I would love to be yours:clap2:
-
Lynette, unless you are into so REALLY kinky positions, there is no reason to delay. If you feel ok, its ok. The band is a long way away;)
-
So, what am I then? I feel left out here:( I feel unloved  nobody wants me:( Dini doesn't love me any more:( it is a rainy day for me for sure:rain: JK
-
Hi Lynette. Sounds like you had fun fishing. I love to fish but I hate to catch catfish. I don't eat them and I don't want to catch them. I live on a river and every time I tried to fish off the dock I would catch these ugly, slimy, evil looking eels. Gross!!! Have to troll up and down the shore in a boat or go to the lake to catch anything.

Good Luck for all of you being banded tomorrow Lainy, DarLaur, SunshineSonya, SweetJephy, Lindaa, RRKeithsGirl, HollySue, Coltonwade, and Ms. Pris.

Hi Jeanie, I am busy trying to de-junk my house. My cousin is coming to stay a couple of days with me after surgery. She had the surgery in May. Just trying to super clean before then. I check in and out now and then.
-
Cazulay, I know what you mean about being jealous in a nice way. My surgery is on the 26th so we will be close together. I hope that your friend becomes more supportive and does not try to sabatoge you. You having surgery probably stirs up some feeling in her about her own weight and some jealousy. Even if she is smaller than you. You are about to change the dynamics in the relationship. I hope your friendship survives. Sometimes they don't. We are here for you when you need us.

Renee Marie, that's so great your sister is joining you and getting the band the same day. Please get her to join us here on the board. I have always wanted to know how to ride a motorcycle. I used to alway date guys that had them. I told my son I was going to get one. He just rolled his eyes...kids. Mango, A new scale. I don't know if that is a blessing or a nightmare. I try to avoid mine. Chickb13, you and Renee Marie can get up a group of Lucky 7s to go riding. It seems a good number have motorcycles Marcy, hello. Sorry to hear you are feeling bad today. Hope it improves soon. That pregnant look is just the gas they put in to expand your abdomen. It will go away soon. Did you enjoy the ride in the new Corvette. You have a motorcycle too?? I can see the influence y'all are going to have on me...varoommmm!!:biggrin1: Jeanie, good morning. We do seem to miss each other. Where are you located. I am in GA. Glad to know you are doing well. Dini, my little Irish friend, top of the day to you. Hope everything is going well. You are probably right in that you and Adam are not spending enough time together. That happens sometimes when we get in our routines. Before you give up completley make some effort to spend time together and see what happens. Hope you are on later. Lynette, how are you and your handsome fellows this am? :biggrin1: You know what the worse thing is. By the time I get time to spend on the board after banding, you will be going back to work...bummer:mad: trystella, its great you are doing well with your new band. :clap2: Lindaa, good luck today. You will be in my thoughts and prayers, Hurry back! Caolin, another one who met their husband on the internet. You must tell me how and where you did this. I am just getting to the point where I would be interested in dating and maybe even a serious relationship. don't want to go too fast there, though. I know I have missed other this morning but I am going off memory and not little notes this am. Hope everyone has a blessed day!

Peaches and NDPrairielover, congrats on surgery and Prairielover, welcome to the site. this is a great group with lots and lots of support.
-
I am really interested in these long distance meeting on phones and internet. How did you meet online? A specific site to do this? I think that is how I should meet my next special person...:biggrin1:
-
Chimboree, thanks for the updated calendar. I know it takes alot of work to keep it current. You are very appreciated.:clap2::whoo::clap2:
-
dmtjet, That is so scary. I hope everything is ok. Please keep us updated.

Patti, I missed you in my message. Welcome back and welcome to the land of bandsters. I will be joining you soon :biggrin1: Dini, Dini, Dini, I miss you here. I agree with Lynette. Your body and what you do with it is none of his business. Tell him to F*** off, in a loving way of course since he is your brother. My son gets that way sometimes, like he can run my life and I have to set him straight. BTW, you and he are the perfect age for each other if you ever come here... Here is you own sunshine from me to you...

Jennifer, congrats on the surgery. Glad you are doing so well. I will be joining you in less than 2 weeks. I can’t believe it.:whoo: Wagnerd, we are here to support you when others don’t understand. Unless someone is overweight or has been very overweight, it is really hard for them to understand. We just have to love them anyway. Nurse76, I am a nurse also, working in Education/Staff development. Have 2 twentysomething yo kids, widowed for 17 years, living in Augusta, GA. Glad you are feeling so great after surgery. It’s exciting when you can eat and such a small amount satisfies. I look forward to that Lindaa, seems like we have a good bit in common, especially jobs. Phyl, another nurse. That should say something positive about the surgery if so many nurses are having it done. RVing sound fun. Y’all have a great trip to Canada. Lynette, your story about how you and your husband met is so sweet. I love reading such positive relationship stories. My husband and I had that kind of relationship. He was my best friend and lover and so, so HOT. Danny, welcome back. Glad your experience was so good. Look forward to hearing more from you. Congrats on the 14 lb weight loss.:clap2: Becca, welcome. Jump on in and join the crowd. It is a great group:) Wow, MrsHorne, 21 lbs! That is great.:clap2: Forgve70x7, hope your port pain improves. It sounds like you are doing great. There are a lot of people here related to the medical profession. Felicia, sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. Hope it improves soon. Just remember food in, food out. I don’t remember, were you on pre-op liquids? You may not have lot to poo to come out. Rainer, sounds like you are doing well. How exciting to be sharing the same experience with your husband. Just don’t get upset if he loses faster. Men have a tendency to do that, all that testosterone and all. Hear that Danny.:biggrin1:

Frustrated, I busted out laughing at you post about the Senna tea...love it...emergency evacuation mode
-
Goodnight everyone. I am going to eat me a {{GASP}} donut , do a few things and go to bed. I must take advantage of this no pre-op diet while I can:biggrin1:
-
You do realize I am just teasing you, don't you. Without voice inflection it is so hard to convey emotions such as teasing, sarcasm, sadness, joy, etc. We use our little smiley people and hope they get the message across. Don't know why I just rambled on about this...
-
Jeanie, although I didn't do it tonight and that is why I am sure I missed some, I do like Lynette and jot names and little reminders as I read so I can respond. If I am online, like tonight, I can respond individuall or to one or two messages. But it is usually only once a day I get on, unlike all these slackers around here, lounging around the house, playing on the computer, again not naming any names Lynette I sure hope many of you are still home playing on the computer when I have my surgery
-
Mexico sounds great to me too. anywhere sounds great to me. I will have to start saving now. Who was it that was going to save $10 for every pound they lose. What a great idea.:whoo: I will have more than enough for a cruise if I do that :biggrin1:
-
I was just looking at my ticker and I can't believe it is only 14 days to surgery. Time really does fly when you are having fun with your other Lucky #7s.
-
Phyl, Have a fun safe trip in Canada. I bought some small rubbermaid containers too so I can make some frozen Slimfast and protein power "ice cream" like Lynette does. Sure is quiet around here without Dini posting...

Hi everyone! Welcome to all the new people and congrats to all those who had surgery. Everyone is doing so well:clap2::clap2::clap2: We had a horrible storm system come through Augusta early yesterday afternoon. Trees down everywhere, flash floods, tons of wind damage and the loss of my power. :cry It did not come back on until 4:30 this am. I the one day I missed, I had 11 pages to catch up on. Are we not a prolific group or what???:biggrin1: Lynette, Love the new avatar. I think I can already tell in your face you have lost weight. Those boys of yours are definitely cuties. Hunter is adorable and the hubby is quite HOT also;) Glad to see you are doing so well. I am jealous that you have had the surgery and will be moving on to munchies and I won't have the surgery until the 26th:think JK :biggrin1: well maybe a little jealous:) Dini, my little sausage, you are working too hard. If you can't be here to talk with us....that means too much work.:biggrin1: Hope everything is getting better with you and Adam, or at least not worse. I definitely want to cruise with you and all the other Lucky #7s. Anywhere would be fine with me. We could always go April or May before hurricane season starts or eastern carribean. I went cruising in the eastern carribean when a hurricane was out there. The ship just went further out and the water was a little rougher. I am game for any place, any time...how about the Greek Isles, I always wanted to go there. Marcy, you are doing so well. I sure hope I do as well as all of you have. Laurend, hope you are doing well. Kathybad, our day is getting closer and closer. Where are you located? I am in Augusta, GA. Hot as hades here right now. I don't know how I am going to get walking in with temps in the upper 90's with humidities in the 90's. You get wet walking outside. It is like walking in soup. Jeanie, glad to see you are doing well. Y'all are just so inspiring to me as I wait for surgery. icybreeze, I am a nurse and I can tell you it is the patient's right for adequate pain control. If you are hurting call your doctor, or whoever is on call and tell them you need something stronger. If someone grabbed his balls and twisted he would probably want pain meds. Maybe he can relate to that. I get so frustrated with docs that don't provide good pain relief. This is a pet peeve of mine in nursing. Chimboree, thanks for the powerpoint. I loved it. How is the infection doing? YOu are clearing up, aren't you? Thanks for the update on the calendar. I know I have left off many responses but just can't remember everything. I will be keeping up to date now. Things are going great with me.

Marcy, I am so glad your surgery went well and you are doing so well.
