As far as the "itchy"-ness, it could definitely be the new hairspray. Higher alcohol content does that. ALSO,this time of year, I tell several of my clients this as this is their #1 complaint right now. "My scalp itches....do I have dandruff?": it's normal this time of year. The weather is changing. We are in generated heat all day long. In our cars, our homes, and at work. The heat is blowing non-stop. It's just getting dry. We put lotion on our skin to counteract it. Our scalp suffers a little also. It gets itchy before it starts flaking. I use a dandruff/itchy scalp shampoo once a week and it helps quite a bit. I prefer the Matrix brand, but there are several others. I use it on my scalp then use my regular shampoo on the rest of my hair. I don't know if you are living in an area that is getting cooler right now so this may or may not help you at all! Glad your hair is coming back in. Cute cut!

You may laugh at this...but I went to the library. Lol. Seriously. There are NO food smells in there to make me want food and everyone is quiet. But, I like reading and I got some research done (WLS stuff) so it worked for me. And I drank at least 2 bottles of Water before I left. -
Great! Thanks for sharing this fabulous find!

Ooh....I love your details! Any more to give?! Hope all is well.....

Nectar Protein Help?
abetterme4.2 replied to Beckyyb93's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
Uuuhhmm...I can't stand it at all. I bought the sample packs and when I mixed it up, I didn't even finish it. Maybe my taste buds will change after the sleeve as I keep reading about, so I have one saved. I didn't like the Caribbean cooler, either. Until then...yuck. -
I ordered from Amazon and got free shipping. The Chike website sells it, also. Hope this helps.

Welcome to the boards! I'm still new here myself, but I love the "search" feature/box. AMAZING! Whatever question/topic I may have, I type it in the box up there and get all kinds of responses from different time frames. Welcome and hope to "see" you around! -

This stuff makes me very happy!! I am pre-sleeve, so hopefully my taste buds will still like it after. 20g whey Protein Has as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. As all things....moderation. Just thought I would share for anyone else who may like a coffee flavored protein, every once in a while.

WELL...I'VE BEEN TALKED OUT OF IT...
abetterme4.2 replied to Melanie Gilgan's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Aw Melanie, so sorry YOU allowed yourself to be talked out of it, but glad you will only go through with the surgery when YOU are ready. I have read a couple of your past posts and believe you are making a decision best for you at this time. Just definitely live life on your own terms. I see nothing but rainbows and butterflies in my future. Lol. J/k. Anything worth having, is worth fighting for. Maybe I am a wuss, but I haven't told any one about my surgery because I don't want to hear their nonsense. I have only told the people who I know will support me. Literally a handful of people. Good luck on your journey, the one you choose. -

You look great! I definitely need to take some photos soon so I will have something to compare it to. As most of us, I don't have any pictures of myself and I am sleeved in January. -
Nothing to do with weight loss :)
abetterme4.2 replied to SweetSaso's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I will start my post by stating this: I do not claim a religion. I do take offense to your post. When someone states "keep me in your prayers" that doesn't bother me one bit. I will take the time to wish the person well and send positive thoughts. YOU taking the time to make a post being offensive because it rubs you wrong because you are not a practicing Christian, is just you being "picky" and JUVENILE. I say "merry CHRISTmas" does that offend? I am not a self-proclaimed Christian, does it make me hypocritical to say that phrase? If someone states to me,"I will pray for you" or "keeping you in my prayers" a simple please and thank you serves me well. I do not take offense when someone states "if you are Christian, please pray..." So what? They know their religion, not everyone else's. it only means they are uninformed or choose to not study and/or know other religions. Who cares? Whatever religion you choose to practice....I hope all of you me keep me in mind (in a kind way) when speaking to your god. I will take it all in stride and appreciate you all the more for it. -
Glad you're doing well! Thanks for keeping us updated!

I do not. But soy doesn't agree with my stomach. I do love some almond milk, though!
