    Wow!! That is amazing! Congrats!
  3. The upside is...at least you're not re-eating it like the dog. Lol that was a little bad humor...sorry. I do agree with Amazon...just tune out surroundings and focus on the food. Take your time, enjoy it with NO distractions and I bet you will have success!

    mommy issues

I guess I have mommy issues as well. Lol I haven't even told mine. Sheesh. But, my reasoning is sound, for me, anyway. Or maybe I just keep telling myself that. I am doing this for me, not for her. And honestly, she'll disapprove, I know it and I'm okay with that. She would probably have a ****-fit if she knew I was going to Mexico. Good luck and keep us posted! Stay strong.
  7. Glad to hear you guys are all doing so well! Love the support you're giving each other. Keep us posted on your progress.
  8. I can definitely see a difference! You and your wife look great!
  9. Hey melshell...you still doing well? Hope recovery is effortless!
  10. I went to 2 walmarts and 3 targets and 2 CVS's (CVI? , lol) Everyone has children's, but adult version appears to be pretty tough to find. I finally found it at a CVS, buy 1, get 1 1/2 off. Today. Hope this helps.
  11. Thank you so much for posting! Wishing you nothing but success and more uneventful recovery time!

    The Importance of Vitamin Supplementation!

Oh my gosh! I am pre-sleeve so I am ssssooo happy that if is happened to me, glad it happened to me before I was sleeved. A few months ago, I felt like I was walking around in a fog. Tired, trouble concentrating, sleeping all the time, etc. This went on for a couple of months. This sounds like a long time, and it is, but it was such a gradual change that I almost didn't notice it, with the exception that I just couldn't function. I made an appointment and it took 4 appointments with 4 different doctors and he finally figured out what was wrong with me. Not enough Iron. It took a couple of weeks before I felt better. I completely understand how you "feel." Keep taking this supplements! Happy new year!!

your last meal before pre op ?!

I am! Nothing too serious, but just a couple of favorites: Last night I had grimaldis (favorite pizza) tomorrow for lunch I am having sushi and a COKE (lol) - i decided that one after a thread popped up about someone wanting "a soda so bad they're gonna scream" and then New Year's Eve with friends tomorrow night. I start pre-op on Jan. 1st (10 days) Wish me luck!

    Boob job

Until you have finished what you need to lose. Usually maintaining for a little does not hurt, but once you reach goal, you can meet with a surgeon and discuss options. The waiting until you finish losing is because we can't determine exactly where the weight will come from when we lose. Usually all over, but may be more from hips, butts, thighs, and the inevitable boobs. Hope this helps. Congratulations on the weight loss!
