    Michigan Sleevers

Val212 I was sleeved by Dr Bacal August 2012. He is wonderful not to mention his entire staff is so accommodating. I had some complications but he kept me informed every step of the way. I actually miss the newness of being sleeved. He's going to perform a panniculectomy on me in a month to remove some excess skin. Good luck, take it all in and enjoy your new reign on life!
  2. Highest 228 Current 161 FYI-the candy girl tshirt was a song title, not that I loved candy. Lol

It's dehydration. I noticed it 3 months out but I wast getting my fluids in. Got my fluids up and hands are pretty again.
  5. I experienced the same thing after surgery and even 4 months out it still happens. Doctor recommended Miralax. I keep it handy!

    Sweet Tooth Help!

I posted this in the post op recipe forum Oh my I finally found my "Reese's" fix. It a recipe unjury had for chocolate Peanut Butter Protein balls. I don't have Unjury brand but I do have chocolate Protein powder. It's simple: 3/4 cup peanut butter - I use a natural one 2-3 scoops of chocolate protein powder Mix into a dough, roll about 11 balls, freeze and then eat. Oh my soooo yummy!!!
  7. Way to go! Love the jeans what kind are they?
  8. I tried eating smart ones for lunch for about two weeks. I lost the least amount of weight those weeks. My protein was down and carbs were up and I wasn't even eating a full meal. I no longer eat them. Instead I just eat a piece of cooked chicken or fish with a veggie

    Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls

Happy camper - I think it is for one but I'd have to look on their site because the balls I made are small so I don't think they are that high. Plus their recipe called for reduced fat creamy peanut butter and I use natural. I'd say mine are 1/2 or 3/4 the calories. Enjoy!

    Hair Loss @ 2 Months

I'm 3.5 months out and clumps at a time come out. My doctor said its completely normal. He states our bodies are shedding cells and that includes hair cells. It will slow down. I cut 6" off so it won't pull so hard on my scalp and I've added highlights to give dimension so you can see any thinning spots. Good luck!

    Bathroom Ugh

Miralax is amazing and it has no taste. Mix it in with anything liquid. It helps loosen stool.
  13. I beat my goal by 1lb!! Goal was 179 Actual was 178
