My surgeon recomended medifast and I lost 35# in 60 days. If you look at medifast online they talk about 5 + 1. I was told to just eat the 5 medifast meals and not do the +1. All your vitamins,protein and fiber are covered with the five meals.
I found out about Blossom Foods on this site. Frozen single serving pureed foods. I ordered based on one per day during pureed phase the beef selections are pretty good. About $5.00 per meal shipped portion size approx 4.5oz was perfect. Microwave and go no dishes.
Some energy bars are high in carbs. If it's low carb under 22 and high in protien 20g it would be fine. I do five small meals a day three are bars that have13g carbs and 11g protein in each. JUst remember 60g protein a day and try to keep daily carbs around 65g calories around 600 and you'll peel off the weight.
