Keya34 - when is your surgery date?

Thank you for your responses... After reading some of the other posts, I am doing my own little pre-op diet. When I last visited my dr. he didn't require only recommend I lose a couple of more pounds. So, now I am doing two protein shakes with fiber . And a sensible meal, trying my hardest to stay away from carbs and fried foods. I am back to exercising - I do a modified version of crossfit. My plan is to wean myself off of food by the week of the 21 to kick start my life.

Thanks, just wanted to know if there was anything other than what has been posted to "look out" for. Most of the posts that I read they were >300 or less. And didn't know if that made a difference.

I am Nichole, I am married with no children but many nieces and nephews and others who call me Auntie. I am scheduled to be sleeved November 5th (one month from today). Super excited and scared but I know it'll all be worth it in the end. Been thinking about WLS for 10 years now, first in the early 2000 Gastric Bypass, was all set to go but employer changed insurance companies. Then 2005, 2008, 2011 "almost" (funding was approved but then frozen) so now the $$ is in the bank, got my surgery date and am waiting patiently for 11/5.
