You are doing fine! I was thinking and doing the same thing as you post op and still managed to lose 20lbs in two Weeks and I was drinking a lot so I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Plus I always felt hungry and wanted to cheat so bad!!! you should be able to drink as much as you like because my Dr said it just goes straight thru you. If its an ongoing concern you should call your Dr and let him know your issues. Hope this helped God bless you and your journey!

Anyone With Diabetes Prior To Surgery?
Alex361 replied to jamari's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Don't feel bad my sugar was 342 on my surgery date & I also fasted the whole day before! They gave me insulin right before surgery & I have never had to take insulin before. Now I've been out for a month and down 25lbs, and my sugar has been anywhere from 90-150. So its still a process just don't get discouraged because that for any one can be hard (maintaining your sugar). Hope this helps and God bless you! -

Getting Sleeved October 30!
Alex361 replied to Aaron in Tulsa's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You should be very excited! :-) immediately after surgery is the worst, obviously. But you should get up and walk as soon as you can because that helps a lot. You shouldn't need anyone to stay with you unless you have a really low bed. No special equipment just plenty of water and rest. I'll make sure to pray for you! -
Monday will be two Weeks!! No pain, no regret and down 15 pounds!! Just want to encourage anyone who is having a bad time....it will all get better. Praying for my fellow sleeved associates!!

First I would like to thank the people who prayed for me. My surgery went well! The hospital stay is the worst but once you get home its way better. I believe most of the hunger anyone is experiencing is mental. I have been walking and just staying positive! Its a challenge but if you want it bad enough it is a good thing!! whoever plans on getting this done I wish you the best of luck and its normal to feel nervous and scared but you will do just fine...the key is getting up and moving asap!! God bless you all...any concerns just ask and hopefully I can help!
