So, this is how I've been spending my past Saturdays drinking Miralax hoping to have some relief soon. Is there anyone else who gets to share this experience with me?

I am 4 days post op and not really in any pain. Just having trouble with the emotional part. Has anyone else gone through that part? I had my band taken out because it was making me sick and couldn't hold down any solids. The hardest part now with the liquid diet is getting enough protein and enough water. I feel so dehydrated and just want to sleep. I'm reading all these positive stories that everyone has posted and I feel like something is wrong with me because I'm not happy at all right now.is there anyone who can relrelate to this? Thank you.

For me miralax has worked better than MOM. I am like 5 weeks post op and have only gone barely 3 times since surgery so I'm still struggling. I got some fiber gummies, to add to the regime we'll see how that goes.

Thanks for all the input. I got some gummie fibers from Costco. Hopefully that will help me go on my own.

Now I'm stuck going back and forth between 199 and 200....torture!!

It's my turn today!!! So excited to be in the 100's again!! Haven't been here since high school. Feels amazing! Even when I had the LapBand I didn't make it here. **HAPPY DANCE**

I used miralax last night and haven't gone yet. Is it safe to take another dose now? I need to get things moving before work on Monday. I see people all day and can't just run to the bathroom mid conversation lol!

Do we ever get back to normal? I'm 4 weeks out and still not regular. I've only gone 1 time since surgery.

I would love to see some research on this as well. Some how I don't think it will be for some time. But would be pleasantly surprised if there is some current research.

I found out something interesting today when I went to see my PCP. She said that there isn't any consistencies of how any meds are absorbed with the sleeve. Because some meds are designed to be absorbed slowly or quickly. Has anyone else heard this? How do you take your meds? On an empty stomach, or with food?

I'm kind of loosing slow too. We were sleeved on the same day. Have you found anything to help you loose faster?
