Ugh..I'm 6 days post op. The commercials and my family are killing me. They've had pizza and tacos in the last two days and I've stayed in the bedroom like I'm being punished! Lol

When someone makes a positive change in their life it seems to make others uncomfortable. It brings their own insecurities to light and they either become supportive or destructive. Some of my friends and family are inspired by my WLS. They have decided to exercise more..eat right etc. I imagine those who are jealous or unsure of themselves will try to sabotage my success. It may be painful to have to let go of relationships but for me its truly a blessing and I am totally prepared for it. I have personally experienced it when I quit drinking..smoking..and become a Christian etc..I'm 6 days post op. Good luck to everyone. Stay strong

I'm 5 days post op and I am really strugglin with the 64 oz of water. Ugh..gonna keep sipping

I thought it was the morphine lol! And I couldn't see anything on my phone either! Now that its brought up I think a nurse or doctor said my eyes would be dilated. Lol

Omg.. me too! I was wondering what was causing that!

Mine does too! Sometimes I can halfway belch and it helps. I can tell that my stomach is trying to work between the sounds and the pain

I was sleeved on 1/7..my stomach is so loud especially if my mouth is open!

I was sleeved on Monday..released from the hospital the next day. The took my drain out before I left. Yes my stomach hurts when I move from lying down to sitting up..getting up from a chair or toilet too! It is getting a little betteer with time. It does seem that I have a bit more pain where thr drain was. The weird thing..and maybe its normal..but my whole gut growls so loud and if I have my mouth open its even louder! I was still on clear liquids til today. Now I get to have protein shakes again. Maybe that will help my healing. Good luck to you

Welcome..you will like it here. I don't comment a lot but the information I get from reading the posts is a wonderful help to me. I will be sleeved tomorrow at 730 am. I don't know what I feel right now. Part of me is playing super mom and wife trying to get the house in order and getting the kids stuff together for school. Sometimes I am nervous and sometimes I'm excited and sometimes I feel emotionless. Crazy huh? I'm at 255 and I am hoping to get to 150 too..dr says I need to be at 130 based on my height. I get cravings too..they get less and less with time. Sometimes I resent that I have to still stay away from situations that would temp me to smoke..like some friends and parties. Good thing there is no drinking allowed anyway!

I did welbutrin and will power. Its tough and no lie I have honestly tried to pick it back up especially when I was denied by insurance the first time..I was sooo upset. but even trying to pick it back up I believe the welbutrin just won't let it happen. With that in mind..I am convinced its a total lack of will power on my part if I give in..and I'm too stubborn to let that happen anymore. Its been 6 months and I will be sleeved this coming Monday..good luck to all..you can do it. Promise

Yeah I would like to know about body by vi too..I have used those a few months ago just to diet and they are pretty good

Glad you got it resolved. For me I told a few of my trusting coworkers and my boss (which I have asked her to keep it quite..I'm sure she knows that she shouldn't disclose my medical business). At this point there are a few of my coworkers that are very judgmental and opinionated..I just don't want to hear that garbage right now. There is nothing that they can bring up that I haven't went over in my mind a thousand times. I figure I would let my boss and coworkers let them know when I'm off and done with surgery. I can deal with them post op
