[color=#800080][font=georgia,serif]Well, here goes....I'm 39 years old. My whole life, until my mid 20s, I was skinny. 140 pounds and 5 foot 10. I always thought I was fat. I met my husband at age 19 and we were married when I was 21. I wanted children immediately, but it didn't happen. The weight started coming on. 10, 15 pounds a year. Then we started fertility drugs. I finally got pregnant with twins. I was so thrilled!! 5 months in, something didn't feel right - at all. Come to find out, I was in silent labor. Had to be hospitalized in trendelenburg for 13 days. (Feet in the air, head towards the ground to allow gravity to keep my babies in) Unfortunately, Matthew and Ryan didn't make it. Matthew was stillborn and Ryan died in my husband's arms. Immediately after, I went to ICU and almost died. Once I was discharged, I had to learn to walk again. It was awful. I gained a great deal of weight while pregnant and even more after. The habit was fully formed. Well, here I am 12 years later facing VSG. I am grateful for the solution. I am praying I can do it all. I have 3 beautiful children through the miracle of adoption and I am truly blessed to have a wonderful family. They are 100% behind me. Here goes.....[/font][/color]
