Hello, my name is Tonika and I had my sleeve done September 26 2012. I originally had the lap band In 2003 and I was 374 pounds. I got down to 176 pounds nevertheless I started having problems with the band and I creeped back up to 288 pounds. I went In for a revision on my birthday January 26 2012, my liver and my stomach were merged together. The surgeon said he's good but not that good so once he freed the band and liver and stomach he aborted the revision. I woke up to disbelief he said I had too much scar tissue and would never be able to have any weight loss surgery again. I was depressed for 8 months till one day I said God please heal my insides I'm not meant to be heavy. I went online researched everyone told me no till West Lake Hospital came up I called and the rest is history. I went in on a Monday in August and three weeks later I had my surgery... Scar tissue completely healed. What a mighty God we serve, I was nervous the nigh before so I prayed and God whispered trust me your stomach is ok and I just believed and was ok after that.. Last night I start to get pains all over my body. It's hard to describe, its like muscle spasms all over. I can't sit up or ill feel like my muscles are being pulled In opposite directions. I sat completely up and was nauseous so I laid back down. I'm so weak I keep moving from side to side, I went to sleep for like 30 min got up to throbbing In my arms and legs and I'm freezing. The heat is on 85 and I'm just hurting. I'm 10 days out has anyone else had this feeling.

I went to the er last night... Two iv bags and I'm much better... Getting more fluids in, I'm praying that never happens again.

I'm doing fine, just got out it was dehydration ! I'm doing much better thanks yall .

They told me if I'm still feeling this way tomorrow go to the ER . Thanks

I've never had dehydration, that might be it. Nevertheless this is horrible.

Well on in Chicago his name is Dr. Tesenga.. And the first week is liquids second puree and third soft food and so on...

I was sleeved the 26 and I was spotting only for like a week it went away yesterday. It's probley just the blood thinkers they gave us..

Dr. Tesenga did mines also at West Lake... He's Great...if Jesus is your nurse tell her Tonika said hello, just tell her the young lady with the rosary bead tattoo..

You have to pray and put it in Gods hands.... In life everything is a risk so have your friends and family pray for your strength... You'll do just fine

Please follow your weeks plans, you do not want to get a leak. Our new stomachs are like babies we have to introduce them to new things SLOWLY.... Take your time give your staple line time to heal.. you'll be just fine

I'm having the same problem, I had my surgery on the 26th of September. I'm only able to sip small amounts.

Welcome, you will start loosing more in no time...

That's my problem also, this is day 6 for me and like 10g all this time water and tea. Nothing's working
