A thread for people who dont argue, name call, dictate or generally just be nasty.
Ms.AntiBand replied to AussieLady's topic in The Lounge
Ahh.. I lived in Yakima many years. Went to YVC, met my husband, married, first child there, graduated CWU and then moved for work, but many awesome memories there. In-laws are gone now so we don't get there much. -
I'm too lazy to go see what status I have so I'm writing this.. Nothing to see, move a long

Just want to share my story with as many as I can.......It does get better
Ms.AntiBand replied to DivaNurse's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Welcome back .. So very sorry your experience was so horrid! Like the others said God is awesome and you're truly a miracle. You're too good not to get better and stronger every day. Now, get on the losers bench with the rest of us -
Great... Thanks OTR I bookmarked it and once I meet my goal I'll be making these recipes :-)

PM clk.. Heard she likes it when people do that!
-
Yep.. I did and it went all the way to my elbow. Once I was on antibiotic and anti inflammatory cream it felt better, but still took over a month to calm down completely

Can i just tell my job that I'm having an emergency appendectomy?
Ms.AntiBand replied to MK1986's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I didn't tell anyone other than my immediate family. No need to tell work anything unless you're limited to specific work because of the surgery -
Preventing Blood Clots (Tijuana hospitals)
Ms.AntiBand replied to reedsinsd's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
My family jokes about this and I always say.. Less organs less I weigh when I come home I trust the places I visit or use in MX or I wouldn't go! OP.. Be sure you doc is aware of yourissues. I'm sure you'll only get the basic support stockings that go up to mid thigh.. In my case up to my hips since I'm so short. Best advice is don't lounge around.. Walk walk walk. Even in airport Good luck! -
HOW DID EVERYONE FEEL 2.5 WEEKS OUT?
Ms.AntiBand replied to ashley18's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was lucky and back to normal within a few days. Of course, I wasn't permitted to lift, but other than that I was up and living normal. No problem with foods phases, water, and spent my time off traveling, Christmas shopping and enjoying everyday. Eventually, I got bored and went back to work early. Hope the same for you -
Welcome Kiana.. Pretty name! Your loss seems quite normal and if you follow the docs recommended plan you should continue ... Well, until your first stall! Sorry, just be prepared because it can happen, but it's survivable. Good luck

Will I ever need the other 80% of my stomach?
Ms.AntiBand replied to BrokeMyHalo's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

Not fat enough? This is for Low BMI'ers
Ms.AntiBand replied to SuchaPrettyFaceBUT's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I decided to be sleeved as soon as my band was removed because of serious complications. My BMI was 20. Of course I got no support except from my daughters. I had to wait 18 months to become healthy enough to be sleeved and my BMI jumped to 33.5 .. STILL no support! Eventually my husband and son came around, but not until I started to have knee trouble and sleep apnea. This is why I don't tell any others about my sleeve.. People are too free with opinions about something that doesn't have anything to do with them. Regarding my weight, in my opinion other people's two cents has depreciated to nada -

Second Time's a Charm!
Ms.AntiBand replied to RAAinNH's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I agree that age doesn't play a factor in it other than maybe some "elders" are less active? I'm 55, slow loser, but there are a huge amount slow losers of all ages and fast loser of the same? Good luck! -
Ha.. Seems like the threads that keep going are the ones that cause an uproar or conflict. Go figure!

Sounds yummy. I safed it for my future ice cream days

Just home from the hospital, And I have a question...
Ms.AntiBand replied to paula512's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I don't know for sure, but I think blurry vision can happen with any surgery. I'm not sure the exact cause, but I think it has to do with fluid shifts as you eat much less salt and get rid of water weight. Stay on top of your hydration for sure -
Sadly, I'm going to miss being able to make fun of myself. My weight has always been a huge comedic monologue for me

I was told to follow the diet n excercise guideline and live a normal life. I took my meds while in hospital n vitis by day 3

Anyone members at planet fitness?
Ms.AntiBand replied to williamrjomes2's topic in Fitness & Exercise
Yep.. I love planet fitness. No fancyass snob attitude like other gyms. The trainers and asst are normal people in good shape and health. The 30 minute circuit .. Well, sometimes I go to move on and look at my legs and say "hey, why aren't you moving" The intermittent steps are the hardest for me. My favorite is bike or treadmill while watching food network.. Then there's a flippin' bakery next door! LOL, go figure! -
GRRR.. Auto correct! *Go to
