    Questions, Questions?!

4months out and rarely get hungry. I don't crave sweets like I did, but I do eat sf Popsicles.
  2. Congrats.. You look awesome!

    Question

I started as soon as I left hospital also, but I made it with water and nothing else. I stayed as close to clear liquids as I could for the first week.

    60% loss of excess weight?

My doc said, "if you want to lose 100% you will". And I will!

One thing I'm not looking forward to:

Maybe I missed something, but why is WLS going to make your period begin if you an IUD?
  6. Oddly, I think it's your husband, who really needs the the support. Some of us forget we're not the only ones struggling with a new lifestyle. Think hard about how it is to be in his shoes. Make sure he knows he's still #1 and let him know things aren't going to change.. It's only going to get better
  7. Great job! It amazes me how everyone who loses a lot of weight looks 10 years younger. Keep up the good work.. You look great!

    I messed up

Ok, cream of chicken sugar free pudding, sounds gross! The scoop issue probably isn't going to be an issue.

    Serious question seeks serious answer!

Maybe .. And I mean MAYBE, it could be that the majority of BBW are sincerely not happy being BBW and being with a BBM is just a reminder of what they dont like about themselves. It's like looking in the mirror all the time. In general, Women are way more sensitive to things that, for a variety of reasons, don't bother men. Just a thought.

weight loss after band to sleeve

I guess I'm just not able to grasp the logic of this.. It should all be the same as a nonbanded person. Everyone's loss differs, but it has nothing to do with whether you were banded before.

    accidentally drank creamer left out

My husband and siblings used to argue over which one had to put the gallon of milk back in fridge before heading off to school .. So there it sat... every day...on the table, waiting for the first sibling to return from school. It was quickly put in fridge before a parent came home. Heh.. He said no one ever mentioned that they always had warm milk for dinner. Needless to say they were never sick... Or at least never admitted it to a parent
  12. Easier if I just tell you the ones I haven't tried. There are none

    Stoopid question time

    LOL.. Good question!

    HERE IT GOES...

"I would guarantee that using a straw will not stretch your stomach. I would also guarantee that the girl who put on 50 pounds is six months was putting something a lot more that a straw in her mouth." Bwahaha.. Love it!

    IMAGINE IF...WOULD YOU?

You're probably too young to remember the movie, The Blob.. When you said what you did the scene in the car when the blob tries snicking over the back of the seat.. Ok, no doubt, I'm the only one old enough lol Carry on

    IMAGINE IF...WOULD YOU?

Yep... HELL NO! I know me very well. I've been at goal a million times and guess what? The sleeve is going to work permanently for many reasons. A few are, I want to be healthy, I want to eat right, I hate being fat and it's cost me 100 grand just getting to the VSG , so by God.. It's going to work! I hope my wicked stomach rots a slow ugly death.. Good riddance!

What I can eat at Subway 4 months out

Hey.. I went to Denny's school My kids refer to it as Denny University, but heck, it paid my way through years of college. Ahhh.. Yesteryears!

anyone feel GREAT three days out?

EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT.. But it's a possibility you can go. I was myself when I woke up from surgery. And I vacationed in MX as if I hadn't just had major surgery... Except the eating part anyway.

    Flying home after surgery

It's important to avoid blood clots and to rid your body of any gas left so WALK WALK WALK. Forget the wheel chair .. Take this time to keep yourself moving.

    Coping...

So sorry When my brother passed away from cancer I realized when it hurts it means he lived a good life.. A life where he was so loved and gave that love in return. I wouldn't hurt if he wasn't an important part of my happy life. My hurt and heartache is a small price to pay for having the opportunity to have him in my life. I hope you understand this comment as being as remarkable as I did a couple years ago
  21. My dose is the lowest available so maybe it makes a difference. No one has ever complained about me .. So maybe it makes me a better person? LOL.. I think the dose is the key and my tablets are shaped like an hour glass and can be split if I want to go lower. Only side effect I had from going off is a migraine within a week.

    Low Bmi'ers...how Long To Goal?

4 months post-op and 23 lbs to goal, but will be thrill with just another 10lbs
  23. I suffered with migraines for years until my doc tried an experiment with me and tried Effexor for headache prevention and over the last 10 years I've only had a few migraines. I swear by it and have actually tried going off it, but quickly returned to a daily dose and yep... I swear by it. It's a prevention and not a med that you have to suffer a migraine before trying to conquer it. Prevention is the key for me
  24. Well..dang! I guess I'm a fortunate person. No pain or issues with my surgery and then got Botox without any pain or issues and couldn't even tell I got it until I looked in mirror. I am humbled for sure.
