Not Facebook.. Right here in our sweet little forum neighborhood! Ugh.. I'm going dead and I'm at work so I won't be able to continue my rant until after 7!
-
That's not nice.. I want my ass in there! Groups on this forum.. Some are set to private so you can't comment or even ask questions. Seems like another "mean girl" club to me. I don't want to have " join" every little group, so I was just wondering why someone has to join in order to participate

LOL.. Wait, WTH.. This post is history! Pfft!

You're anemic.. . You need to get healthy before you do anything major. Being anemic can be life threatening... I know for a fact. It definitely matters when fighting infection too!
-
My insurance has an exclusion also, but I'd still go to MX, anyway! Just MHO

Don't judge.. We all have our reasons for going through with WLS. lalalalah!

I wish I could share before pics. Let's just says I'll never buy another apple product in my life. Well, technically, it was a gift or I would never even own this one. CAN'T DO A NORMAL THING ON IT! Ok, rant over.. Carry on

Good luck everyone.. Keep us posted!

Looks like we can get the black bean pasta at whole foods. I don't do much at whole foods but will go for specific things. -

Almost all products claim to be featured in "big named mag" ...they just don't mention it's a paid feature aka advertising -
I'm still not understanding things. Granted, you only care about the Aussie, but perhaps help us understand? I don't see any negativity either.. Just curiosity.

It is odd to see regrets without complications. I accept the fact that some do regret it, but I do find it hard to understand. I mean, it's kind of obvious why sleeved people with complication may regret it, but why others?

You mean you were just joking about the 20-30% reduction? I must have missed something.

I dont even bother with breads. They are a filler and that' why we grew up with bread and butter at the dinner table. As for not being able to tolerate it.. Take a chuck of bread and put it in a little water.. IT GROWS! Now, think about what you stuffed in your stomach and then imagine it growing. No wonder it's uncomfortable. I love breads, but not that much

I agree with OTR.. If I did'nt get the standard 85% removed I'd be pissssssed beyond comprehension. Sassy, I hope your doc didn't hoodwink you into a surgery that has a high rate of failure.

There have been a couple people on the forum who were denied because of psych evals.

They're a quite a few threads that cover this topic. Just use the search bar and many will come up. It a personal choice just like many thing in life are.

First thing that came to my mind was he's lucky it wasn't a cast iron frying pan Good job fighting the food beast though -
At 104... I was basically death warmed over, but it's because the band was robbing me of any of value. Once the band was removed and they gave me 4 units of blood (this is just the minimum of a long battle for life) ..anyway when I was unbanded and 104 I was in heaven, but so unhealthy and severely anemic. Never worked out, knew I had weight to gain so I ate like a pig. Docs promised me I could be sleeved as soon as I healed, but unfortunately healing and getting heathy took 18 months and my weight was out of control. To answer you question, now this very day? I would never want to be under 125 ever again. I'm on a totally new quest in my life. Health over vanity this time and I've never ever felt better.

When I got down to 104 with my band my doc had me add Ensure healthy weight and muscle drink and this helped me to stop losing.

lapband revision bmi 35
Ms.AntiBand replied to tlah's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I am very surprised your doc did a same day revision with your past history. Docs wouldn't touch me until I was good and healed. They said without being healed was asking for complications and difficult recovery.
