I pay $750 a month for insurance and my employers pays another $750 for us and they refuse to cover ANYTHING related to wls even if you're on your death bed. I'm out $100,000 because of band related complications. Nothing I can do. I'm still not cover if anything goes wrong with the sleeve.. BUT THERE WON'T BE ANY! -

The only way you will fail is if you give yourself the option to fail. The only option I gave myself was success.. And I've never considered anything else. Don't get me wrong. I've failed a gazillion other diets and two lapbands so I'm not new to failure. But it's in my past forever... And can be in yours too

Nope. I'm done with diets. I know the HCG diet works, but I'm done with all that. I do it with the sleeve or not at all. My body has been abused enough and this last chance at a new healthy me is it. I'm about 10lbs from a healthy goal and I'm in no hurry and I don't care about stalls because weightloss is going to happen as long I live the way I'm supposed to. It's a personal self contract I've made.

Hang in there and be glad they just didn't send you home to worry. Regardless of the reason.. You're in the right place if there's anything to worry about. Like they said it could be either ne... Or none,maybe. Glad they're on top of it though. Good thoughts, prayers, vibes etc being sent you're way.

People.. It's not that Cheerios or the likes may "upset" your new stomach. Fact, probably don't give a rats ass what "upsets" you. THEY CARE ABOUT YOU DOING DAMAGE! Pure and simple. Don't invite complications and issues.

It's possible you have phlebitis. Keep a close eye on it and it's it's swollen, purple/red blotchy and spreads you need to be checked out. If it turns out to be phlebitis you need antibiotics and topical pain crm. Pain will last several weeks. Or you could just be sore from the attempts they made. -

I'm embarassed when I think about what I used to eat when going out to eat. I now wonder if people used to stare at me. I feel good when I go out now and have control.. Amanda... Isn't it great? Yippee for us all
