Ms.AntiBand replied to blindsided's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
For shitsakes.. Have a little compassion? Not everyone is as experienced with ass hole men as you seem to be. -

Really? Ok, so chances are the majority of us aren't going to be hit upon by Casanova drs, but you know what? I find it unsettling that this don Juan wanna be is assisting a great surgeon. Obviously, he thinks he's Gods gift to women and will continue to prey on the insecurities of vulnerable women. He needs to be called out. We owe him nothing. We're here to support each other and that means even in a sisterhood/friendship manner... And let each other know about things of this matter. I hope this post has gotten the attention of all concerned and the only blame is on Dr Roamin' Romeo Luna -
Can you take protein bars on a plane?
Ms.AntiBand replied to thehappycat's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Yes. And actually I had a gallon size zip lock bag of vanilla powder and they never said a thing. But the did question my teeny MIO drops.. Go figure! -
Trust me.. You will feel totally different with the sleeve. After tons of research I knew I made a huge mistake going with the band over sleeve. The band is a medical mistake that should be off the market for the lack of success and high rate of complication..

I agree. It's a precautionary step I'm very pleased with. It's used to detect any excessive fluids, leaks or bleeding. Something I'm glad my surgeon does. I had no pain at all and as soon as the final leak test was performed it was removed without any discomfort.

I know from past posts that Garcia is one of the several excellent surgeons in MX. But you know what? If I'm aware one of his assisting drs is a womanizer.. And preying on patients.... Oh hell to the no! Dr Garcia better get his crew in order and be gone with the mate who is sinking the whole ship with his immaturity and unethical behavior. Unfortunate for OP, Dr Garcia and the company. -
Pfff.. I'm 6 months out and only about 40 down. Slow but sure! Hang in there!

Heh.. More like a speed bump in the road. Been there done that.. Just slow down and possibly eat less. Gotta pay close attention to what your stomach is telling you prior to the effect

Well.. Hells bells! It's a fine mess we have going on here, huh? Let's all calm the sheeeit down and do some constructive conversing. Heh.. I can't think of anything to say so... Carry on -

I would never want to support a dr that did this and why would you suggest others go to this "good dr" ? WTH? You think others want this creep for a doctor? No way. He doesn't have to work for this company and can change anytime he wants to or go out on his own. I seriously can't believe he's getting away with this.. And will continue to do so. As if there aren't a gazillion other issues we have to worry about .. now we have some anonymous Casanova-wanna-be lurking the corridors of our WLS -

This is a help and support forum and it's a disservice not to post an unethical surgeon.. Regardless of what country the slime ball is practicing in. -

If this is Gods honest truth... This is unethical in any country and since you're warning mostly Americans it's only right to expose his identity and let people decide on their own. Who gives a rats ass about whether he'll get mad... -

Preference: To mix with water or milk?
Ms.AntiBand replied to marfar7's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
Remember milk isn't in the clear liquid stage. I always used water simply because it was less carbs and calories. Other than that I use pre made ready to go type because I'm so messy and lazy -

"It takes a special kind of stupid to forget to eat..."
Ms.AntiBand replied to marfar7's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I rarely get hungry. BUT.. No surgery stops head hunger or habit. Reprogramming the head is a must if any surgery is going to work. With the right mind set prior to surgery make the whole journey to goal more doable. Occasionally, I forget to eat, but I'm pretty set on a schedule so it's not often. -
Long term PPI usage
Ms.AntiBand replied to Fiddleman's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Though, I do worry about the greater risk of osteoporosis associated with long term PPI use. Because of my long term anemia with the band my bone density was compromised and 3 different times I fractured several ribs just leaning over things and hit my wrist on a drawer and it fractured. So.. I worry -
I know exactly how you feel. (read my profile story) and all I can say is.. It's time for you to get rid of the band for your own health. That's you're first priority and hopefully you can be sleeved. If you wait you're going to do more damage to your self and they will not do the band to sleeve in one procedure. Take care of yourself.. Your eating isn't any better than being bulimic

What could be causing this?
Ms.AntiBand replied to cmathews77's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Maybe your body is getting used to the lack of calories compared to what it once consumed. Now that you 're a bit more active you're using the small amt of calories your getting in. It also takes A LONG time for the body to adjust to low carbs, less caffeine and the huge change we've made. Just a thought of course.. Not a dr -

Why do you say this? Just how much history do the US surgeon have with you? Sure you meet them prior to your surgery, but so do the MX drs. They have our medical history also. If you're talking about psych eval.. Well, majority of the the regrets because a patient wasnt prepped for this psychologically ... Are from the US surgeon. As for the slice and dice.. That happens regardless of where you have your surgery. Fact if you were to statistically look at it I bet there are more leaks per US surgeons then MX simply because US surgeon lack the experience. I prefer experience over anything
