I agree - I would like to be able to get this thread faster. -
Hello all - just checking in for the day. Janine - congrats on finding the bullet! I had my staples removed today. Boy am I a big baby. My DH went with me because I thought the removal would be awful. It wasn't! Got to move to FULL liquids today. Having some trouble getting any amount down. I never suffered from heartburn before. It seems like even water is causing some discomfort. Any advice?

Hello to all - Welcome to newbies! Mexican Food! :omg: I live in South Texas - Rio Grande Valley! Breakfast tacos are a big missing part of my life. Still in liquid but when I can have a taco it will be ordered and the tortilla will be tossed after it serves it job as a plate!

Janine The Bullet is a blender/processor. My DH found it for me at Walgreens but I think I have seen them at Walmart (cost less.) I like that it has plastic containers that you blend in and then drink from. Miso is a great liquid stage item. It's a "change up" for the boring broths. My son found me an Instant package at HEB. I have to strain it because it comes with spinach and tofu.

Ja9Va- I use the GNC Whey Protein unflavored. It has zero taste but I swear there is a odor. Not too bad though. It turns broth into a nonclear and foamy liquid when it is mixed with the Bullet. I am still in the liquid stage and am having trouble getting the protein into my food (if you can call Jello and broth food!) Mixing the powder into full liquid will be much easier to swallow. I hope that stage is starting Tuesday after I see the doctor to have my staples removed.

Hello June group! I had my band put in Monday, June 4th. The liquid stage is boring but after reading this forum I realize how important it is to follow the path of recovery. I am looking forward to the life changes that are coming. Would I do the procedure again? At this point .... YES! I hope all is going well for those of you who have had the procedure and best wishes for all who are coming up.

I have the same question. I was banded on the 4th also.
