High Protein foods or shakes helps with craving it helped me with mine because it keeps you full and not really wanting anything else. And it helps with the snacking in between meals also and with that being said my weight loss progress has be great by doing it that way.

I began having that same feeling of cravings so what that means is you’re not getting in enough Protein throughout the day. So my advice would be to up the protein and it will stop the cravings. That's what I do now and it works just fine with not problems at all I don't snack in between nor am I hungry at all...

I was sleeved on the 09/12/12 and just with the 3 day diet before surgery up until now I've lost 20 pounds so far. I must ask you are you watching what you eat or drink because there are a couple of things you should remember and that is your calorie and carb intake. And make sure your drinking your Water and as far as Protein have you tried the powder called unjury they tell me it's pretty good. I just ordered some just the other day and now waiting for the arrival. If you could try those few things I believe you will see a big change I'm so for sure. Also just because the scale is not moving doesn't mean you’re not losing it could be in inches so you need to do your body measurements and that's where you can tell if your loosing or not. I hope these few pointers have help you in some way your another if you should have any more questions or concerns please feel free to ask and I will continue to guide you as much as possible.

Any Self Payers Go To Mexico?
Deva43 replied to MsLadyKanKan's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am also new to this site I’m on another one that’s called Obesityhelp.com which is a really good one also. But to answer your question about going over to Mexico to have your surgery it would be well worth your trip. I was just there on 09/11/12 and had my surgery on 09/12/12. I stayed until 09/15/12 and flew back to my home of record. And my reason for doing my surgery in Mexico was for the same purpose insurance wouldn’t approve it so I had to self pay. And just to inform you this wasn’t my first time going into Mexico to get my surgery done. I had the sleeve done about a 1yr and 6months ago. And this time I went back for a revision and self pay both times. But I believe you will do fine going over because I never had any problems at all. And my Doctors name is Mario Almanza Reyes he’s a great doctor and that includes his staff as well. Hope this informations helps....
