    My Band To Sleeve Story

I had a similar story. I had the lap band for 4 miserable years and had it removed at my cost in 2007 as my old insurance no longer paid for any weight loss surgeries.. My insurance had changed and I finally got the sleeve 10/22. I feel great and am doing well. Nobody should get the lap band. I had many problems and lots of adhesion's from it. All my problems were either to be solved by getting a fill or taking out a fill. Endless. You will do great. Fortunately I have had no problems drinking or eating. maybe the 5 years of healing in between procedures was a blessing. Best to you on your journey.

    Beans

I'm 4 1/2 weeks out. I have been eating Taco Bell re-fried beans. it's .99 cents and I get 2 meals from it. It has a little cheese and mild sauce. Very smooth and goes down well. Also helps with constipation. I also made a double batch of turkey chili with chili and kidney beans that is yummy and you get the protein from the beans and turkey. it is amazing how such small portions go so far. i have to eat food with taste or I'll get too bored. So far so good. Good Luck
  3. I am 4 weeks out today and the same way. I feel it has helped with my healing process and getting all my fluids. I don't know if any of it has to do with the size they made your stomach. Mine was a 36 . I am so grateful that I can drink so well and have been eating well without hungry. I can't wait for the future months to see where this all goes. I have not been tired since the first couple of weeks. Good luck to you.
