Piece of cake...I went to Dr.Garcia in April and I can honestly say that Dr. Garcia & his team are top notch doctors and they take care of you at Florence!! Would do it all again if I had to...

Everyone thinks of that because surgery in another country is still "taboo"...As for us that have gone over to Mexico to have surgery it's the best money we've ever spent.....I had the VSG in April with Dr. Garcia and it was one of the easiest things I've done in my life!!! 22lbs down might I add

I think the question was answered but Dr. Garcia uses sutures and Titanium staples...You have to take into consideration that there are HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of Dr. Garcia patients...If he was doing doing something wrong you would've heard about it by now...I think people get it twisted when they hear a doctor that charges more is better....WRONG WRONG WRONG...one shouldn't pick a doctor because he is cheaper WRONG WRONG WRONG...My choices were Dr. Ponce De Leon, Dr. Garcia, Dr. Alvarez....I went with Dr. Garcia for numerous reasons but I still think the other surgeons are GREAT...

I had surgery 4/11 and I am back to work doing and feeling great you will be in great hands with Dr. Garcia and his team at Florence. If you have the money go for it....Any questions that you have please feel free to ask at anytime!!!

So does Garcia...Florence Oasis is a full scale hospital...Look it up! I just came from Dr. Garcia and the care that you receive is top notch!!!

I was sleeved with Dr. Garcia on 4/11 and had a great experience. I DO NOT promote ANY coordinators/doctors but I just want to let others know about my experience and that they will be in good hands. I HIGHLY recommend same day surgery to get it over with and I stayed at the hotel for two nights only and I am so glad I did! Dr. Garcia and his team are phenomenal...Any other questions please feel free to ask

Janese from ALM told me last summer that Dr. Kelly was on drugs and losing his privileges at hospitals when I was inquiring about him. So it's not surprising that many of Dr. Lopez's patients will use that same tactic because they are just listening to what a coordinator/company says!!! I was turned off by that and didn't use ALM because it seemed so unnecessary for her to tell me that about another surgeon!!! TOO MUCH DRAMA!!

Oh I forgot to add that I am very pleased with Dr. Garcia performing my surgery!!

Dr. Fernando Garcia via Ready 4 a Change did my surgery and I only had it done a few days ago (April 11) I spent an entire year researching VSG in Mexico and like someone posted PLEASE do your research as far as finding a credible coordinator because that can factor the entire outcome of your care while in Mexico!!!

Those of you that are post-op PLEASE keep us informed as to how you all are doing be it bad or good...I know once you all have the surgery things change but it really means a lot to us that haven't been sleeved... STAY WITH US....lol

I am getting sleeved tomorrow by Dr. Garcia as well....You have to do this for you....Everything will be fine, I am nervous myself but I have come to far to turn around now!!! I chose not to tell ANYONE in my family about this operation because I didn't need the negativity....Hope to see you there!!

I researched Dr. Ponce and I believe you will be in great hands...All of his patients love him and are doing well...he's a great surgeon... I understand your fears as I am leaving out on Thursday 4/11 to have surgery with Dr. Garcia. I am nervous, excited and little scared all in one BUT God's got me so I'm ready to do this!!!

Maybe or maybe not?!?! It seems to me although I AM NOT a doctor, some ppl just don't know if they are "blood clot" prone... Especially if you have never had any other surgeries/complications!! This particular person had ailments that contributed to her death.. If I had ailments I would NOT get this surgery period,in MX or The States. Remember Amy is doing fine now..so I wouldn't say "screwed" altogether....

I just emailed Dr. Garcia, Dr. Luna and Alma and it was a clot and heart issue but the whole family was sleeved by Garcia...This was an isolated incident!!! I worry about these things but they assured me that was the only one. still confident in my decision!
