Hi! Surgery went great! Now if I could just eat a little bit more I'd be good to go. I have a constant full feeling and never want to eat. Thanks for checking in on me xx

I actually like my protein shake. It's called Hydro Whey and I use the chocolate flavor. It's delicious and the only flavor that I can stomach so far.

So far my favorite protein powder is Hydro Whey in the chocolate flavor. You can find it on Amazon.com or GNC. It's delicious.

Hi. I'm at 3 wks post surgery too. What works well for me is yogurt, mashed potatoes, creamy soups and pureed foods. Just remember to chew a lot and take your time. -

VSG and Crohn's Disease
gigi2195 replied to Bobstone's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm scheduled for the sleeve on Thursday and I'm scared out of my mind. I am worried that I'll start a flare. I tend to have some off days here and there but haven't had a big flare since 2009. Someone please tell me that this will be worth it.... -
Yes, I am going to the Paramus office.

@Boofster Hi! I go to Advanced too. Who is your coordinator? I was originally scheduled for the end of Sept but insurance requested for 3 mt weigh ins prior to approval. So, if all goes well I should be scheduled towards the end of Nov w/Dr Eid.

Hi Ashley. I'm in North Arlington & I'll be going to HUMC too. Are you using Advanced Laparoscopic as well?
-
My husband had his sleeve done last week. HUMC was great but they put him in a room with someone who ordered food all day. He definitely wasn't in the bariatric wing and I'm not sure if they even have one. So far Advanced Laparoscopic has been great to deal with and we love Dr Eid. His coordinator was Chabelly & she always returned our calls. So no problem there. I'm due sometime in November and I can't wait!
