    Female Issues

I had my surgery on October 3rd. Maybe 1 week after surgery I started having very dark brown discharge. I started my BC on October 29. It stopped it for not even a week. Should I call my OBGYN about the discharge? There is no blood, just very very dark brown discharge. It's driving me crazy!!

Thanks ladies. I've had this discharge for basically 6 weeks straight now. I was very busy at work last week, so I'm calling on Monday.

    Bowel Movements....

I've thought about trying dulcolax. I have had one bowel movement in the last 2 and a half weeks. I kept cramping and was even bloated on my lower stomach. I can tell that I need to go, but I can't.

I am 5 1/2 weeks out and I am debating having a glass this weekend while we are out of town. I may not, but if I do I will let you know how my one glass goes.

    October Sleevers! Announce Yourselves

What was your starting BMI? The reason I ask is the lower the starting BMI, the slower the weight loss (usually).
  9. I don't mind! I got the recipe from The World According to Eggface. If you go to the website, scroll down and look on the left for "BITES". She has a lot of them. I left out the green onions, tomatoes and mushrooms so if you do want those go to the website lol 5 eggs 1/2 diced onion 1/4 lb ham 1 cup shredded cheese 1 tsp butter 1 tsp basil 1 tsp oregano Sauté onion with butter until brown. Add in ham and sauté for another minute Beat eggs. Add everything into the egg mixture. Lightly grease a 24 count muffin pan. Pour in Bake for 30 minutes at 350 They aren't that high in Protein, but it's so easy for me with work.

    My Diet Tolerations

I'm only 5 weeks out, but I get hungry every 2.5-3 hours. I will have half a Protein bar or yogurt or cheese as "snacks". My eating schedule is 8:00-breakfast..ham & cheese crustless quiches 11:00-lunch...3 oz deli turkey and 1-2 laughing cow light Swiss cheese 2:00- snack And dinner is not always I set time so I only allow myself one "snack" per day.
  11. I was a 20/22 (depending on how it's made). I'm now a size 18, but my dress pants that I wore a 22 in I'm now in a 20. I think my size 18 dress pants will fit now. I could get them on about 3 weeks ago but they were tight. I'm going to try them on this afternoon. I would love to be a size 14, but I will be one day.
  12. I was sleeved October 3rd. I'm down 25 pounds plus 10 pounds from the pre-op diet. I had a couple of days of bad eating, but I'm back on track! I actually gained about 2 pounds, so now I'm down to my 35 pound weight loss. My new favorite lunch is 3 oz deli turkey and one slice laughing cow light Swiss cheese. I bring that for lunch to work everyday. I made some crustless ham and cheese quiches that I bring for Breakfast. I eat 2-4 of them. They are about 40 calories a piece. I'm aiming for 600 calories, but sometimes I don't make it. I do try though! I really feel like this is one of the best decisions I've ever made!

Soon To Be Sleevers With Big Dogs

I boarded my Boxer and Yorkie for a week. But when my husband brought them home, neither one tried to get playful with me. My boxer never tried to jump on me either.

    Water Question...

I will be 5 weeks post op on Wednesday, and I still cannot tolerate plain water. I mix Propel Zero with my water.
  15. I'm not going to starve myself either. I'm only 4 and a half weeks post op, and I usually get between 500-600 calories. And I'm not going to go to the gym for 3-4 hours a day either. Why? I work full-time, have a husband to cook for and a house to keep clean! Saturdays are spent with my horse and horse trainer and Sundays are for me and my husband. Yes, I do walk but not for 3 hours (except at the barn where I don't sit down for 4-5 hours plus riding multiple horses). I don't want to become addicted to something. I am addicted to food, and that will always be a lifelong battle. I've already made mistakes in my diet, but I'm human. I picked up and moved on. I'm actually headed to the grocery store in a few to get healthy/high protein stuff for the week.

    Notifications Won't Stop!

It's driving me bonkers! Luckily I keep my phone on silent at work. lol
  19. I'm 3 weeks and one day out. I went to Starbucks this morning and got 8 oz decaf coffee and added about 4 oz of my protein shake as my creamer. YUM!!!!!!
  20. I will be 3 weeks post op tomorrow. I was just progressed to soft foods(fish and moist meats). I've been stuck at 242 for about a week. I'm still getting less than 500 calories a day. Could my body be in starvation mode?
  21. I will be 3 weeks out on Wednesday. I can start having fish and moist meats. My husband and I love Japanese food, and I won't give it up (but I am giving up the rice and noodles). We don't go a lot. He was really wanting it tonight, so I did a bad thing and went ahead and ordered scallops. I could only eat one and ate half of a piece of the hubby's shrimp. It was so good and so filling. I was very thankful to have some substance.
