Me too! I always feel hungry. And I feel like I need to stuff myself so it will last awhile. I have to really watch myself. -

I was sleeved 10/22/12. I started at 302. Now at 188. I stall every once in awhile but I work out almost every day and keep my calories under 1200. It seems to help. -

Original BMI 46, current 35! Woohoo! Surgery date Oct 22. -
I had to meet with my primary doctor one time a month for 3 months, meet with a nutritionist 3 times, and meet with a psychologist. Overall not too bad. I just hated waiting. Your doctor will be able to help you navigate it all though. As for my doctor, I have his cell phone number! How many doctors give that out?

Amber, I have United Healthcare. I had to go through 3 months of meeting their criteria but they paid for 80%. I went to Dr. Collier in Conroe. He is AWESOME! And they will walk you through the insurance nightmare.

I have been soooo bad the last couple of weeks. Eating fast food and eating a lot. Still not as bad as I used to be though. So my new year's resolution is to refocus and remember everything I went through to get here. -

I have found that I am much pickier with the food that I eat now. I can't tell you how much food I throw away now because it is mediocre. Only so much room now, want to make sure I like what I put in. -

I take comfort in knowing I am not the only one. I can eat anything. If I sit down and eat then I eat smaller amounts but I can also graze all day long too. I am not normally a grazer so this makes nervous. I am just trying to make smart decisions but it has not been working the last couple of days. -

Yea it was great. I ate a small piece of turkey breast, tablespoon of stuffing, a devilled egg and about 2 tablespoons of pumpkin custard only because my mom made it for me and I felt guilty. Oh yea, about 45 lbs down since Oct 1st! -

So we went out with friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. First it was an all seafood place. I don't eat seafood I was hungry but didn't order anything. So I had everyone asking me why I wasn't eating, what could I eat, oh how sad it was that I couldn't eat... Blah blah blah. No one believed that I just didn't like seafood. Then the birthday girl proceeded to tell everyone, even complete strangers that I had weight loss surgery. Have I mentioned that I am an extremely private person??? And I didn't even get to eat until 11pm. Pretty cruddy night out. Would have rather spent the kid free night on a date with the hubby. -
I used Dr. Collier in Conroe. He was amazing. I am 4 weeks out and have been stalled for 2 1/2 weeks. Dr. says I need more calories. It totally sucks. Finally doing everything right and still not losing.

I just called my doctor. They said I probably wasn't losing any weight because I need to get more calories in. At least 1000-1200 a day. -

Resisted a piece of toast and had cottage cheese instead. Getting really burned out on what I have been eating. -
Thanks. It has been interesting that is for sure.

Still no weight loss. One positive thing though is that before the surgery I would have given up if I didn't see any progress. Now I can't give up! -

Just had my first dining out experience. Went to Olive Garden and got the pasta fagioli soup. Couldn't even finish one bowl! I was trying to get as much in as I could so it wouldn't be that obvious to the people I was with. No breadsticks though. They were tempting though.
