Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call

Same here lost 16.5 in first week then Week 3- nothing Week 4- 1.5 Week 5- 1 Next week ill be able to hit the gym instead of just walking hoping that will help! Day of surgery I was 283 just thought being heavier would equal faster weight loss at first. Guess that's not always the case. But I am ok losing at a steady pace to avoid more sagging skin. Already have some do to my years of yo to dieting. Thanks for the support girls!

Ugh so jealous of these 30 lbs losses.... Surgery date 9/17 and down 19 lbs. Frustrating... Almost ready to just go back to protein shakes only. Anyone else losing slow?

Hi all! Sleeved Sept 17th. Surgery day weight 283 today 265 down 18lbs. I stalled week 3 so was happy to see that 2.5 lb loss today! Everyone says they can tell I'm losing but I can't see it yet. Anyone else in the same boat? I'm also in fitness pal: abstractlass

Today is my 4 week surgiversary. Surgery day weight was 283 and today I'm 265 so 18 lbs gone. Started out in sz 24 jeans today I'm comfortably in sz 22. Starting regular foods today, kinda scared! So excited to get caffeine back today. Had my first cup of coffee and it tasted amazing. Luckily I feel really good these days. My energy is back, I've got my meal sizes under control, know what foods work and ones that don't (chicken breast). Really looking to the future and have hope that this time ill lose my excess weight for good. To all who are doing well keep up the good work and to those with complications I hope things get better soon.

    Awesome thanks for the tip!
  9. Hi everyone! Just wanted to post some VGS in Mexico support/advice. I had my sleeve surgery Sept 17th in Tijuana at Hospital Angeles with Dr Corvala. My experience was fantastic honestly! I swear the hospital was way cleaner than any US hospital I've ever been too. The nursing staff was great. My call light was always answered right away. Some of my nurses spoke very little English so if u don't speak Spanish I recommend learning the basics ( bathroom, nausea, pain, thrist) just in case. Doctors were so attentive my surgeon, cardiologist, and general MD saw me daily. Pain was minimual and my incisions look good. Remember Mexico hospitals want you have a good experience and they work harder to ensure your happy because they depend on your good review for business. Anyways there are my 2 cents. Good luck to u all!
