Ok...so have been feeling "pretty good" about my weight lose but not really excited until I saw myself in a picture. Then I compared it to last year and damn I felt good. So far I have lost somewhere between 80 and 90 lbs (my scale bounces all over the place, so I just wait until I go to the drs and get an accurate weight). This is the best thing I have ever done!! I see all the pictures of everyone on this site and am so proud of all of us!!

Well I was doing good on the boot camp until my doctor admitted me to the hospital on Thursday and had my gallbladder removed on Friday. Guess that is one of the downsides of losing weight. On the upside of having surgery...my kids cleaned the whole house for me!! LOL Another upside is I feel like I just had the sleeve surgery done and am back to the the liquid diet I originally started with. I am really happy to see how many of you are doing good on the boot camp!! Keep up all the great work!!

I can not believe my eyes either!!! WHY IS THIS GUY STILL ON THIS???? and where is Administration?! JaspersGirl posted the conve form Alex after he got word that she was "breaking" the rule. Why is it that he is allowed to relentlessly go after her?!

This back and forth is past rude at this point!!

Why does she have to answer to anyone but administration?! she explained herself to Alex and THAT IS IT!! she does NOT have to explain herself to another soul.

JaspersGirl, you clearly have a very rich, busy, balanced, and happy life. Do not let the ugliness if this tread pull you down any longer. Something is very clear in this situation. You are being pushed around by a CYBER BULLY.

Yes the wraps do work. How do I know? Documenting measurments and pictures! Like I said, there are alot of scams out there, but I have been using a product for approx 5months. I put before and after pictures with the link where to buy the products and I GOT INTROUBLE.. I guess the people following the thread took it as I was solicitating. I got a message from admin stated quite a few people complained that I was advertising, I wasn't.

I never mentioned the wraps until someone posted a question on what creams have people used to help with the scaring. So I mentioned the wraps/creams I have been using. Just that 1 time! I time I mentioned the product, 1 comment, I didn't advertise on different threads and/or send people private messages etc... just that 1 time. sorry I am going on and on,

That is the thing I guess from some of the newbies who don't know us veterans, lol. I have been a member for approx 2 yrs and been sleeved since March 1st 2011.

Maybe people don't know who JaspersGirl is because most of them are newbies... but yes, I am read and not a fraud trying to sell stuff.

Awhile ago I put up a status stating I was going to try some wraps recommended to me (this was I think in April or May), everyone was saying, oh please tell us if they did really work. Yes they did. I haven't been on here much due to my work schedule, I use to work 3days a week, now I work 5.

It really hurt my feelings that people actually reported me... but I totally understand.

I know I am going off track here, but I guess I am still hurt and feel betrayed in a way? It's still on my mind and afraid of even mentioning anything.

GEORGOUS!! So happy to see those pictures! My happy moment was on Christmas day when I put my suckie innie thing on and it was too big to suck anything in. That made my Christmas day!! Hope I look as good as you in a few months!

I am so glad all of you said this. I was getting really nervous about the pain on my right hand side. Thought either I was being a big baby or over did it walking yesterday. Gonna call the dr tomorrow if it gets any worse just to be on the safe side. Hope all of you are doing good other than that!!

Well I had mine on Monday. Having a little trouble but because of other circumstances. I pulled a groin mucle getting out of bed in the hospital and I had the pleasure of it being that TOM as I went into surgery. Had to laugh at that one! So glad to be home. They wouldn't let me take my gas x strips in the hospital, but I could once I got home. They help ALOT! Hope everyone is doing good and can't wait to hear how everyone progresses from here!!

Hello all. My surgery is scheduled for Oct. 9. I have been following my getting ready diet faithfully, and thought I was truly ready for the surgery. I actually saw a video of the surgery yesterday, and it really freaked me out. Here are the things that are my biggest concerns:

I really hate sugarfree products. I am allergic to aspartame, and I really just don't like splenda. I can probably handle it for the 4 weeks of blended after the surgery, but I don't really want to use it afterwards.

Could I do this by myself without surgery? I've lost almost 30 lbs since July. Could I lose the 150 lbs by myself?

What if I get Water nausea? I love Water. And I don't love crystal light (cause of the splenda).

What if I have a lot of pain afterwards? I am so sensitive to pain.

I've been having a lot of issues taking my Vitamins. Every time I try, I throw up. My gag reflex seems to be so darn active! What if I can't get the Vitamins I need?

I'm so nervous all of a sudden.

Please help me get past this?

I went through the same thing last week and again yesterday. My surgery is Monday. I keep reminding myself that I want the weight to stay off. No more yo yoing. My doctor mentioned liquid vitamins. They were going to give me samples but forgot. That may help! I love water too and not crazy about diet drinks but found if I dilute crystal lite ALOT it gives me something different. I also make a water drink with ginger, lemon, and cucumber sliced in it. Gives me some variety. Hope that helps you a little!

Me too! Same age...nervous as h*ll too! Almost was going to chicken out yesterday but today I am a bit better! We can do it and be a lot better off for our families!! PS I didn't tell anyone just like you. Keeping it quiet for now!

Thank you for posting about your drains. I was starting to wonder how "up to date" my doctor was!

I am having my surgery on Monday with a drain. Doctor said drain would be removed before I leave the hospital. I'm not looking foward to having it tho!!

I hear ya! I still have 6 days til surgery and I feel like I am going insane! I'm not crying, but now all of a sudden questioning why I am doing this and not just losing weight on my own. I KNOW why I am doing it and haven't doubted it until now! Just gonna keep on drinking that water!!

I have Ind BC and Personal Choice BS in the PA/NJ area and they covered it. In the beginning of the process, my dr had me call and ask them a million questions about what is/isn't covered and requirements for surgery. I think that was the best idea. I knew exactly what I had to do to get approved. When it came time, I was approved almost immediately. Now I am on the two week pre op diet waiting for surgery on Oct 1. Hope this helps!!
