  1. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was positive. I'm excited and scared. I will be calling my surgeon and midwife in the morning. Has anyone gotten pregnant this soon?

    Hi....I got pregnant at about 3 month post also. I was sleeved on 12/17/12 and found out in March that I was pregnant. I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant and me and the baby are fine. I go to listen at the heartbeat tomorrow and hopefully sometime next month I can find out the sex. I didn't really have morning sickness only dry heaved twice. I just been really tired. Congrats.....


  2. I'm almost 7 months post op and I am 17 weeks preggo... I have not gained any weight yet' date=' I have continued to lose... not a lot but still losing. This is my 4th child and I feel like this pregnancy is probably the healthiest out of all. I feel like a normal pregnant woman (if that makes sense) I just have a normal preggo belly... before I just looked like an overweight person. I habe had no issues with eating... my appetite has picked up a bit. I still get my Protein in and I have had a few "unhealthy cravings" that I have given into, but nothing I feel ashamed about. I had an ultrasound on Wednesday and my baby boy is healthy as can be... so my doc is not worried at all. Good luck with your pregnancy![/quote']

  3. Not to be rude' date=' but are you doing okay with the pregnancy? My doctor told me I'd have to wait at least one year if not two before trying to get pregnant. I have PCOS and my doctor thinks that losing weight will help me with that and trying to ovulate - because I'm not ovulating right now.[/quote']

    Yes, I'm doing fine with the pregnancy and so is the baby. My doctor and nutritionist said I'll be ok just to continue my Protein and take my Vitamins.


  4. I seem to have a small sleeve too. It is getting better. My surgeon promises that at a year I will be grateful. The hardest thing for me is getting fluids in. I'm allowed to drink 45 min after eating. But the reality is that I can't drink for almost 2 hours after eating due to fullness. I run out of hours in the day to get all my Protein in and still not much more than 48 oz of Water.< /p>

    The bad news is that my hair really started falling out at 3 months. I started taking Biotin twice daily but feel I am already behind. I had thin hair to start with. I hope it doesn't get too bad.

    NSV. I got some new (smaller) bras. Looked great with a large size sweater today and jeans. My birthday is Monday and my goal is 195. Today I was 196 so I think it might just happen!

    You're doing great...when did you have surgery? I'm 196 today as well but losing slow and been at 196 for a few days now...

  6. I am 7 mos post op and 7 mos pregnant. I had an IUD and still ended up becoming pregnant. My pregnancy is also unplanned but still a blessing :) my baby is doing very well :) an I've lost 115 lbs in these 7 mos. I still have 80 lbs to lose but I know I will be able to do that once she gets here. Everything will work out for the best :) I will say that this pregnancy has been the best even with the more nausea I've had.

    How did you manage to still lose weight during your pregnancy?

    I was at a stall since my last appt on 1/29. That's a little over a month. Was stuck between 205, 206, 207 & so on...I decided to do Lil Diva Bootcamp this week. Started on Monday at 206.6 & today I'm at 201.6. Glad to see the scale move in the right direction.

    I start my day off at 6 with Water and try to eat or drink something every hour. I do sugarfree flavorings Protein Drinks and seafood all day. That helped me alot....
