I was sleeved on 12/17 also. I'm down 11 pounds (230 the day of & now 219 today). The gas I mostly gone. I'm not hungry but I do miss regular food. I find myself thinking about it but then I get on the forum or find something to keep me busy so I don't think about it much. I'm scared to try to eat.regular food in fear of not knowing what may happen to my sleeve. So I'm really trying hard to stick to the diet. Really looking forward to having tuna & chicken out the can, canned fruit and eggs next week. Can't wait to make me some tuna salad and devil eggs.

Hi, I was sleeved on 12/17 also. At my consultation I weighed 233. When I started my pre-op diet, I was weighing in at 240.my diet lasted 2 Weeks. The day of surgery, I was at 230. Today I weighed in at 219.8. I'm so glad I decided to do the surgery.

I hated being waked up but my friend said I slept the whole two days except for when the nurses keep waking me...I had a little nausea but other than that things were ok...slept with the tool for the pain meds in my hand...

thx all....it wasn't as bad as I thought it would've been..just a little pulling at the skin....and it was quick....

I was sleeved on 12/17 and so badly wanted some dressing. I stayed in on Christmas just to relax and to avoid all the different smells. I had my mom send me some dressing and cranberry so I could freeze it until I can have it when I'm able to eat regular food....I think it helps me just to look forward to eating it...

I get my staples remove tomorrow....do it hurt to get them remove?

When I was discharged from the hospital, I was told that I could remove the bandages and shower the next day...I use dial soap in the shower and have no problem with my incision except for the largest one itches sometime...other than that, they look great...ready for the staple to be removed though....

I was told to avoid straws also and sodas....

Hello all 12/17 sleevers....just got home this afternoon...would've been home earlier this morning but couldn't keep anything but water down on yesterday so they kept me a little longer today just to monitor me....was feeling kinda crappy but after taking the pain meds, I feel better....should be trying to get some sleep in but decided to post while I was better...will post more info tomorrow depends on how I feel....hope everyone is well and a speedy recovery...

Just started my journey with my consultation last Friday, my blood work today, and my endoscopy scheduled for next week....my surgeon said if all goes well, there's a possibility that I can have the durgery by the end of the year...love my health insurance...just gotta have my psychological evaluation and get my proof of previou weightloss attempts from my pcp.....

Surgery in less than 24 hours.....nerves haven't kicked in yet....can't wait to loose some weight and see my actual knees..

10:15am for me so I'll really be hungry...

I'm on day 11 and when I weighed in on Tuesday, I was down 8.4 pounds (actually). I'm on a protein diet with a shake for breakfast and lunch, one protein bar and one fruit a day, and then a senisble dinner. What I was doing if I got to hungry doing the day, I would alternate my meals and have the shake for dinner instead. Good luck to you on your surgery!!!1
