No prob :-) thats exactly it... all meds work differently and each persons body responds differently to each med ... trial n error is all we can do :-)

Protonix isnt a generic... its brand name... the generic name for it is Pantoprazole (which is actually what i take)... Aciphex is Rabeprazole...

I kinda figured :-(... i hope u get ur pcp to work with u! They should, but im not sure if regulations will let them solely vouch for how long u need off after surgery... ill keep my fingers crossed for u! U really should b able to be off 6 wks if u have a labor intensive job! Good luck!!! -

@ careless... can u find a new surgeon? That seems extremely rediculous.... ur having abdominal surgery! My dr has different requirements depending on ur job but as a nurse, he wanted me off 6 wks... i ended up back after about 5, but there's no way in hell i couldve went back after 1! -
I am girl... trus that! & my house (thats finally getting sum attn) is too! To the gym ehen hubby gets home :-) n then a margharita reward!!! Yay!

Lmao... i wish... i havent lost nething in like a week (actually gained 1or2 lbs... lol)... ill lose good far a couple of days or a week, then nothing or u a little for a few days or a couple weeks... its super irratic! Drives me nuts!

What r u on j? U may need a higher dose or different med... i know sum ppl that had to try 3 diff meds b4 they found the one that worked for them... and ben has to take his bid when i only take one daily n if i miss a day or 2 im fine...
