    So embarrassed!

Good for you Lisa! Can you imagine if this happened while driving? I'm glad you jumped on this so fast and saw your doc.

    Week 3

Chap, I agree, maybe this coworker is just trying to keep up the relationship that you once had. Relating to you the only way he knows how, with food. If you enjoy his company could could go out and have soup or something like that. Good luck to you!

    1 month out

I was feeling the same. I'm a little over a month out. I read a book about gastric sleeve and adjusted my meals. I agree with determined. When I was feeling sick after eating it generally was because I ate too much. Plus, I let some carbs creep in. The book said to concentrate on protein and produce so that is what I do (of course I know about protein but I was still trying to have a meal and I just don't have room so now I limit it to my protein and if there is room, produce). My meals are not exciting but I haven't felts sick lately. I might have a hard boiled egg for lunch and that feels good in my sleeve. Now I try to keep my meals about that size and I've had not more trouble. I think we just need time to feel things out. Try to keep your meals smaller and you might feel better too. Good luck! I know it is horrible to feel that way! One other trick, My nut said that it helps to have pineapple tidbits with protein. The acid helps break it down. It does seem to work!

    Stumped

I'm losing wt still but I'm the same! I just do not urinate near as much as I used to... I'm a bit over one month out

So frustrating. Gaining? On week 3

I'm a month out and I had the same thing happen to me for a week. I think we just shocked the hell out of our system and it is trying really hard to keep things as they were. Not gonna happen! Don't worry, it will come off. I am now drinking drinking drinking btwn meals and I only "eat" three times a day. If I'm hungry before bed I'll have a fudge sickle or a Greek yogurt but I try to eat nothing but "protein and produce" at my meals. I read that in a book. I think I was eating too much (still not much) but not drinking enough. This has really helped me and the scales moving again. I know I should not be so obsessed with the scale but I cannot seem to help it! It's like heroine! It calls to me. Good luck you will do just fine!

    Biggest loser conspiracy!

Dude, don't do it! They will send Jillian after your ass and you will be in big trouble!

    Protein drinks

Drink up! the more fluid the better. I just put them back in the fridge when I'm full for later.

    Sex

Made my hubby do all the work and it was about 9-10 days out;). Plus he had to stay up on his knees (where I like him anyway ha ha ha Of course you should follow your docs advice.....

    What to tell work people

I hope you were clear about your feelings with your fiancee because I didn't think I needed to tell my hubby that I would rather his whole damn work knew but he told them anyway! I was less than pleased....

    And so it begins (newbie)

If you need your pcp as a referral you wont be able to do the psych etc first. they will want approval. If you don't need a referral I would say go for it and get that ball rolling. I was sleeved Feb 11 and I started that process (no diet needed) in October. Good luck! Delena

    Tomorrow is the day!

Compass, that is just how I felt! Even sitting on the stretcher waiting to go back. It was a peaceful and easy decision and I never waffled. That is amazing for me as I am sooo indecisive about a lot of things. Best of luck to you tomorrow! If you have a family member that can stay at least over night with you take advantage of it. It was so hard to get up to walk or go to the bathroom! Can't wait to hear about your successful journey! Delena

    Feeling More Hopeful!

Good for you Star! I would also keep practicing not drinking with meals. I wish I took that a little more seriously because I'm finding it really hard. Not that I have much solid food yet at about 2 weeks out but still. I find myself constantly having to be reminded before grabbing a drink. Best of luck to you!
