BLAHHH!!!!!!. POST OP DAY 5 AND PROTEIN SUCKS! I need another brand besides muscle milk isopure and unjury choc splendor..

I actually faced the same dilemma. I went ahead and had my surgery while unemployed. I figured that I would recover better, figure this whole thing out, loose some weight, feel more comfortable in my skin, and then I will look for something else. So even though I was going through the process I was still looking for work in my profession.

Yes people have been telling me that but according to my surgeon it is totally separate. Hmmm.

My surgery was this past wednesday. I'm still on the clear liquid phase for one more day. I don't know how people get in.64 oz of water or fluids so far I got 40 oz in 1 tsp jello and 20 oz of isopure. I need 24 more oz of fluids and 10 more oz of protein. How the hell and I'm super full and super gassy? Can't wait until Monday when I can add some diversity. Hopefully I can get my water up by then.

I had surgery wednesday 11/21 was released 11/22. I'm really sore. Can't sleep. Stomach is swollen. Can't really lay down. Can't get my liquids in. Really having a hard time. Any suggestions please. It would really help. Oh and I've been using spirometer to open lungs up.

I'm q November sleever!!! Just had my sleeve done today 11/21 woohoo!!!!! Mild gas pains. No other pains as of yet. Woke up with chest pains. Just breathed thru it. Feeling better. Dozing off wknd day.

Gosh... Having my sleeve done on the day before thanksgiving... Excited and sad at the same time... No good for me. It's all good!! Is there anyone who shares the same date as me or even the same week????

Hey girl! I was thinking about you the say of your surgery... Welp had nines this morning.and I feel pretty good. Gas pains right under my breast.bone and top of my tummy. I haven't had the leak test as of yet. Maybe in the morning. I cannot wait to have something to drink. Other than.I'm feeling prety good. Walking testing and sleeping.

So I been on this journey since 2010... I didn't really discuss with anyone my.intentions until this year after I got married. No one really believd me when I said I had to take a 12 week long class and loose 10 % but when I finally finished I guess it all became real. I didn't want to tell my mom that this was it. I'm going to get sleeved because I knew she wouldn't agree with it. So I eased her into it. She didn't fully agree but she would be supportive. My husband knew all along what I was going to do. He wasn't too sure but he was going to support me because I made up my mind. My sleeve date has been pushed.up to this wednesday. The day before thanksgiving. I'm stoked. I figure everyone else should be too right? HELL NO! I spoke with my mom about arrangements and she says that I shouldn't do this and she doesn't agree and that I can just work hard yadda yards ya! I was a little mad but I always know my mom will have my back. I text hubby to tell.him that moms not on board. He gets home and says YOU DIDN'T MAKE THIS DECISION WITH ME AND YOU SHOULD NOT GO THROUGH WITH THIS. YOU HAVEN'T EVEN TRIED TO REALLY LOOSE WEIGHT. LOOK AT ME I'M DETERMINED I LOST WEIGHT. UR BEING LAZY. U JUST WANT TO LOOSE WEIGHT FAST. This broke my heart! My husband has always been there for me. I don't want this to hurt us. But on the other hand. This is what I want. Nobody understands what I go through on a day to day basis. Nobody knows what I think.about it.... I just don't know anymore. My support system comprised of my mother and husband is gone. I don't want to go through with this alone...

I have a surgery date set for 11/21. I know they are fearful. Buy I need this. I wish I had a friend to take me but Ive only told them because I don't want all the comments but ended up with them anyway.. smh

Yes I tell.him that all the time. He really believes that I only wsnt to be sleeved because ill loose weight faster which is not always the case. He says the same lifestyle changes I'm making with surgery I can without surgery make those changes. At this point I'm trying to find a ride to and from the hospital.

I was scheduled for Halloween and I had a slight cough. The anesthesiologist cancelled mines on the spot. Get better. Although u don't want to go in.sick before and still sick afterwards.

I'm excited for you! My orgibal date was Halloween then it was 12/12/12 then bumped to the day for thanksgiving. I would be surprised if they change mines again... Good luck and make sure u update us!

I know!!! I praying that I will atleast see my family after I'm discharged.

Mines is the day before thanksgiving! No dinner for me either!

I'm a Halloween soon to be sleever... I'm totally consumed with this. Can't keep my mind off of it.
