It is SO nice to be able to come on here and feel like I am not the only one struggling with the pre op diet!! I am almost done-YAY!!! Been a LONG 8 days and if I see another Carnation Instant Breakfast again it will be too soon!! I am going to have to find something else for post op! 5 shakes a day ruins you on it! Hope everyone can hang in there and just keep in mind how much this is all going to pay off...that is what helps me! Surgery the 27th-I CANNOT WAIT!!! Good luck to everyone!

I had an oops on my pre op diet too. You just need to start tomorrow out fresh, its a new day. It is hard to break all the bad habits that have gotten us into this mess. Take it one day at a time. It sounds like you have been doing good so far, and you can get back on track and you will lose 5 lbs by Oct 2nd!! Stay positive and don't beat yourself up too bad!!

I am having surgery on the 27th! It is coming fast! Anyone else out there have that date? Good luck to everyone!!

My surgery is Sept 27th and I am on day 4 of my liquid diet. I am supposed to be drinking 5 sugar free carnation instant breakfast drinks a day, sf jello, sf popsicles, and lots of water. I am struggling! This weekend is going to be hard because I wont have the busy day of work. My husband has expressed the same concerns as your husband. I just keep reassuring him and I told him I am too old to "train" a new man!! LOL! I know everything will work out, it just didn't think this diet would be so hard! And I can't expect the dh and kids to stop eating too so I just leave the room while they eat. I hope everything works out for you!! Stay strong!

Hi! My name is Stacy, I am 34 years old, married, with 3 beautiful girls! I am scheduled to have the sleeve surgery on Sept 27th and am getting ready to start my liquid diet tomorrow. I have an associate's degree in Healthcare Mgmt and also Medical Assisting. I am currently working at a hospital near my home and really enjoy it.
