Just got a call from my surgeon office...... I'M APPROVED!!!!! was sure it was gonna be a struggle, and was ready to be disappointed. I laughed like a loon when she told me they approved it....

It means my surgeon got the approval from the insurance company.... My grandma always said there is no such thing as a stupid question.. If you don't ask you don't find out the answer...

More risk for blood clots, and other complications because you don't heal as well or as quickly as a non smoker

I'm penciled in for April 22nd, two days before my birthday. Just waiting for the final word from insurance.. Finished my 6 month insurance requirement this week. Scared! -

I have my surgery penciled in for April 22 ( 2 days before my birthday).. Just because i have to do my work schedule 2 months in advance. Have talked in depth with my dietician and she sees no reason for me not to be approved... But final say is up to insurance.. Figured a month would give me plenty of time if i have to appeal or supply more paperwork. -
Haven't been on much lately.. But my 6 month insurance requirement is up on march 15th.. Terrified i won't be approved!!! I love reading all the posts on here. Gives me hope and resolve for the future! Love all the support we give each other....

I work at St Joe East and their center is great... And am currently going through 6 month requirementput approval process... Who is doing your surgery? Let me know how it goes! -
If you have demabond (glue) on them you may be allergic to it... I would call the Dr. again and tell them about the red rings

First off.. Happy Birthday!!!!!! Second... I loved this post! I am still pre-sleeve, but reading this gave me hope about my life in the future. I am a bit older than you, but still have those same insecurities about things..... when you wrote about the guys wanting to dance with you and puting on the zip line equipment, my inner goddess was doing doing cartwheels and blowing raspberries!!!! lol Congrats on all you success!
