Oh and I drove yesterday and had no problems.

I was only in the recliner 1 night then in my bed with at least 2 pillows. I can lay flat but its not always comfortable!

Omg the leak test was awful. Afterwards I was in the bathroom dry heaving!! Only time I've felt like throwing up!! The only good thing was it made my mouth water, I couldn't have anything to drink until after I passed the test so my mouth was sooooo dry!!

I remember you!! Yeah I was pleased as well and pestered them until they let me out after one night lol. How are you feeling?

Getting up and walking. Also keep your bed in a somewhat sitting up position. That's what helped me. Got sleeved Tuesday and doing great!! Walking really helped me!!

Just the breathing thing and walk every hour!! You don't wanna get pneumonia or blood clots. Have you been using the gasx strips? Maybe its gas. The walking will help! I hope you start feeling better

I don't have any issues with cold doing pretty good getting in my liquids not sure I made it to 48 oz but I sip all day!! Going to try the new whey protein drink today! Don't have a lot of energy. Trying to make sure I walk every hour!! Just wanna take a nap lol!!

What are ya'll doing dir protein? I tried the carnation instant breakfast mixed with 1 cup of milk and 2/3 of dry milk makes the drink have 21 grams of protein. My new tummy doesn't like milk!! Trying it tonight with soy milk. Don't know what I'll do if that doesn't work cause the protein drink they gave me in the hospital was nasty!!!

I'm doing great!! Haven't had a problem with cold drinks!! Still a little bloated but not a lot of pain. Slept in the recliner last night cause I just couldn't imagine getting out of bed!

Had my surgery yesterday at 8:30 hot released today at 4pm. There is no way I could have gone home yesterday!!

Well so far so good. I am trying to make sure I never get truly hungry. Have had jello, popsicles, broth and lots of water. Thinking I need to move my office into the bathroom!! Go for pre-op appt tomorrow with fasting blood work!! Yay no liquid till after 11:30 and I can't drive thru somewhere to get something to eat on my way home!!! But that's ok....cause the end result is what matters!!!

Well I passed my upper gi so I get to start drinking!! I have little 1oz cups with water, crystal light, and isopure

Doing pretty good. Some pain but am getting pain meds as often as I can. Walking pretty good. Can't have liquids until I have an upper gi in the morning to check for leaks. Dry mouth is killing me but I'm managing. My 18 yr old daughter is staying with me tonight and she is taking awesome care of me!!

Magnesium Citrate is the best....said no one EVER!! Got my bags packed figured if I forgot something my husband or my daddy can go get it for me!!

Wow that's just wrong. I am getting sleeved tomorrow and i already have my 1 week post op appt scheduled. I am having my done at Forest Park Medical Center by Dr. Jayaseelan. I go back week 1, week 2, week 4, month 3, month 9 and 1 year. I know at the 3 month check up he is going to to blood work to check my vitamin levels. I think you need to call and find out!!!

ok so I just left walmart and no liquid tylenol so I bought the children's kind, figured I could just figure out the dosage. Got my miralax powder and the gasx strips. Have to take Magnesium Citrate before 6 tonight!! YAY! Have to leave my house at 4:30 tomorrow morning!!! But I'm ready!!!! And I'll get on as soon as I feel up to it!!!

Awesome!! My partner at work had me a gift on my desk this morning and everyone is so excited for me!! Good to have all that positive support!

I have a horrible headache and can't take excedrin migraine. Trying to get stuff at work caught up so I don't have time for a stupid headache so I'm just gonna ignore it!! Maybe it will go away!! How are you doing today?

Haha can't imagine why? Told my 18 it old daughter that I was having a few doubts creep up every now and then and she was like mom mo you're having this surgery. Told her I wasn't changing my mind but this was a big deal! She's very excited for me!! My 15 yr old was like hey what if we can start wearing the same clothes!! I'm like your 6 inches shorter than me and weigh 100lbs don't think its gonna happen!! I'm so blessed that my girls and husband are 100% behind me!

Slept good last night but idk how tonight will be!! I'm getting butterflies just thinking about tomorrow!!
