It was honest' date=' though. And we all need a dose of honest. Don't fight the plan... We all want you to SUCCEED. This is a small behavioral change that can help you![/quote']
I didn't think my question was particularly unkind either. It was very direct, but not unkind.
I will have to agree to disagree with the OP on that particular matter.

@Amanda Rae' date=' out of curiosity I am wondering why your signature panel which says “If You Propose To Speak, Always Ask Yourself, Is It True, Is It Necessary, Is It Kind.” yet you post the opposite. Your response was neither kind or necessary.[/quote']I'm sorry you feel that way.

Lots of good answers and advice. I am aware of not drinking and eating at the same time' date=' I just do it in small to medium amounts, and nothing happens that others have mentioned. No running to the bathroom or throwing up. So I really had no reason to change that habit. But I knew it wasn't what I was supposed to be doing.[/quote']Just out of curiosity. You trusted the surgeon to knock you out and remove 85% of a healthy stomach. Why would you second guess or presume you know better than his/her medical advice postop?

I am having trouble separating eating from drinking. Can someone explain to me why we are told not to do this? I need convincing at this point.I throw up. Violently.

White wine irritates my sleeve. Red wine is fine. I get an almost instant buzz tho and tbh it's not overly pleasant.

Well I tried on my LB tankini from the Summer b4 last and it is more flattering due to the underwire but I still don't fill it out like I used to... Still, I'm pleased with my successes.

Now that Dr. Garcia himself is looking into it I hope we can let this go.
I also hope, regardless of the outcome and regardless which version is true, that Blindsided speak with a counselor to help her cope with what has obviously been an overwhelmingly emotional experience.

Me and a majority of the men in my family suffer from severe leg cramps. Hard work outs and humid weather do not help a bit! Quinine is on bit there is truly no cure all. The best thing I have found is something Gatorade makes. It is specifically for cramping athletes. You can get it at Dicks sporting goods. It is a small packet you mix with whatever you dare to. It honestly works though. Bananas do nothing' date=' myth. Potassium has nothing to do with cramps. Stretching and hydration are crucial. Sadly science does not know a whole lot about cramps. One thing they do know now is that flexing the muscle during the cramp can relieve it. Crazy. I feel ya though. Get them nightly. Some real bad, some I can ignore and go back to sleep.[/quote']I totally disagree about your take on the importance of potassium. It may not cure all leg cramps but it proven to be more of a solution than not.

I've only had Chinese once since surgery. I got sick and vomited shortly after' date=' so I haven't tried it again. I do sometimes buy frozen Chinese egg rolls and microwave them. I only eat the filling. It's pretty high in Protein and low in calories and it satisfies my Chinese cravings.[/quote']Try making homemade stir fry sans rice or noodles. It allows you more flexibility and ends up being healthier.
