Ha?!?! Really?!?! Wow. It staggers the mind at your apparent malicious glee over a patient who supposedly had a bad experience with ALM and Dr. Garcia. Any credibility your supposed experience had is shattered IMO by your attitude and your implied satisfaction at reporting "another" bad experience. Which is a shame because this forum is designed to support, share, and inform people who are in the midst of making a life changing decision... Surgery... And out of their comfort zone... Home. I'm not sure of your motives. Gossip? Sabotage? Feeling vindicated that you're "right" about ALM? It doesn't even matter now. Passport card to drive/ride across the border. Passport book if you're flying into another country. Some have gone without a passport of any kind but why chance it? Amanda Rae

I spoke with my coordinator Ronda the other day and she had much praise for Dr. Garcia. Even tho he is not going to be my surgeon I was concerned about the drama and rumors. She said Dr. Garcia is an excellent surgeon and has performed over 3000 surgeries with only 2 - 3 fatalities. That is a 0.01 % mortality rate. And she said they were not due to his errors but things that are medically out of anyone's control. I think she mentioned an aneurysm... Plus actual patient feedback carries the most weight! I'm into my 2nd week Mirena free. Still bleeding. The 1st week I dealt with the "Mirena Crash" and was very anxious and felt like a -0- energy slug. Now in week 2 I am moving past the anxiety and sluggishness, and now have insomnia. Is this my body regulating itself?! Amanda Rae

Of obesity issues or surgery complications.... Especially in another country... I'm scared. I probably shouldn't stress, I'm not sure when I will have the funds. But... It's a big decision.
